I posted this over in the discussion section and got no response, so here it is...

I wish to announce an online game. Here. Run by me. The forum is currently hidden, though I may open it up for a Peanut Gallery.

Shadowrun. 3rd edition. I need 2 or 3 players. Knowledge of the system is preferred. The game will run a hard R-rating, with all that entails. This is not going to be a particularly forgiving game, but if you're smart there's definitely a chance you'll prosper.

Game time: March 5 2058.

I will be accepting character concepts and requests for, oh, a week. Priority will be given to the first and best respondents. So, all character requests must be in by the 22nd. The game will hopefully be fast moving.

I'm all up for a game of anything. I don't have knowledge about the system but I've been here a while.
Trading Rules/"Guidelines"
1) Pictures for assembled models please
2) Post prices if you have the models, or respond with pictures and your expected price
3) Lower rep sends first unless it's a buy//sell. Buyer pays, seller ships. Unless you have less than 10 rep. Then you ship.
4) Leave trade rep after you get paid or receive items.
5) If there isn't a tracking number, it hasn't shipped. Period.
And last but not least...
6) If you have an issue address it by PM first. Always.

Lin,

I’ve not played shadow run in years... but i know the concepts of the game.. are you playing in their standard world with standard character types?

If so I wouldn’t mind playing a Street Samurai maybe Elf or Human. Maybe working on contract from a corp or a plant in a corp via a rival corp… Cyberware is just way to expensive to try to fund on your own.

My second choice would be a rigger on the verge of cybercycosis… maybe a old guy who has seen one to many wars and is on the edge…

Anyway let me know… Ill pick up the books to read up if you want me in there!

Because I like SR better than Cyberpunk. Nuwisha would blame it on my elf hippy-ness, I am sure. :lol:

Now then. It is a standard SR 3rd edition game. I don't have any screwball house rules or anything.

Right now the party consists of a human male rigger, an elf male mage, and an elf female adept.
DarkSoul - if you can get the books at cheap, you're more than welcome. I've also received a PM from Artimese with a pretty good concept as well.

Hey insidius maybe you should play you definitely sound like a dwarf mercenary. :wink:

I've played Shadowrun, but never an online game, do you play by email or what?

Actually after looking at your links I realize I shouldn't probably bother. I haven't played since second ed. I would have a hard time keeping up.
