Does anyone have contact info for death weasel?

Post by Silverbranch »

I am afraid that I have a trade about to go bad, but before I post in the bad trader section I would like to try one more contact. So, if anyone has a phone number and/or mailing address for Death Weasel please PM me or send me an e-mail at Mance_jr@yahoo.com.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum or if I have wasted your time.

IT appears that I have a problem also... I had delayed shipping and I was promised a refund if not satisfied. I was not send what I was promised but am trying to give the benefit of the doubt and give him time to respond so far my emails and pms remain unanswered.

Well, I know he regularly posts ads in the 40K forum.

Putting a reply IN his message thread that you're still waiting for (enter stuff here) that you need from him would likely get his attention. NOt to mention a visible warning to others contemplating a trade with him.

I know that, when I was going to buy some bits from him, he replied to MY PM's swiftly... then, I dropped the trade when, despite his "0" references, he informed me that he does NOT send first.

Glad, now, I dropped the trade.

Eric

I just filed a claim with PayPal as well. I have given him multiple opportunities to answer me, but he has not. Hopefully I will either get my stuff or get my money back. I will go as far as I can to make sure he pays for robbing people. DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS PERSON! He gave me his contact information. PM me if you want it. I still do not want to post a person's email and phone number on the public board... no matter how much of a thief he is.

Yes, please file a complaint in the bad trader forum before telling others not to trade with him.

While I trust that you did indeed get scammed, it is not fair to others if we do not see your proof before making such claims.

Hi everyone,

I too am a seeming victim to DeathWeasel. I paid for a regiment of Empire Flagelants on April 20th via paypal. I have yet to see them. I have had correspondence with DW regarding the matter and was willing to give it up to the 'USPS postal dragon' because he said that he sent them. But after reading from trader after trader, it seems that there is a strong negative pattern here.

DW promised a refund, even though I declined at first (If he sent them and they were lost in the mail, it didn't seem right ask for a refund...then he would be out money and figures), but hasn't come thru on this part of the deal either.

On a side note, DW deleted the original thread ad for the Empire Flags after I paid for them, so there was no place to keep an ongoing public thread for the benefit of other to see. Luckily, I have not deleted any correspondence, so I have a good paypal case.

Trader Beware......Chris

Actually, if I recall correctly, you have NO paypal case.

Paypal requires that you contact them within 30 days of the transaction.

You may want to double check on this, but I'm fairly certain you've waited too long already.

I'd start thinking about the IFCC and the USPS complaint centers.

Ah, good to know. I wrote them a while back asking them to extend the time to account for overseas purchases. Guess they finally wised up a bit.

Hi everyone,

The latest status on my claim to Paypal against DeathWeasel is that I won.......due to non-response from seller.

Unfortunately, Paypal has no way to reclaim the money (only $29.75) because there is no money in his account.

So, I'll chalk it up to a good (I mean bad) lesson. This is the first and I hope the only negative experience that I'll have with a Bartertown member.

Thanks, Chris
