So what is it about Thousand Sons?

Post by mardaddy601 »

I've entered into two buys of Thousand Sons sqauds here in the last month, both times paid each trader quickly up front.

Now I must admit, I do normally give it about a month to receive items, because life happens. BUT - If what I am being emailed is true - One was send UK Air Mail and another was sent Priority, Air Mail I usually get in 10 days, Priority 3-5 days.... both sent almost a month ago, and neither have arrived... (and both traders are saying indeed, they DID send.)

Perils of the warp? Are Thousand Sons INDEED cursed?
None of these things are VITAL, this is a HOBBY. A hobby we enjoy, but still, a HOBBY.

Lower rating ships or pays 1st, myself included. Used to be more flexible; but was burned in recent months by a few newbies. If 200+ feedback w/no negs and 10+ years member is not enough to be trusted, well, like I said - none of this is VITAL.

I don't know about the Thousand Sons but I can say I had a wonderful trade with a gent in Canada (I am in Arizona) that took 4 weeks to get my package to him and 6 weeks to get his package to me and we posted them at the same time. My suggestion is to wait a couple more before doing/saying anything bad. The customs are getting terrible.

I've done MUCH dealing with Canadian and UK shipments (over 3 dozen in the last five years), and I've got a good estimation of how long it all takes.

BUT you have to account for the possiblity of extraordinary circumstances (which seems to be gets less and less extraordinary and more common), so I am holding on and being patient. After 2 months I will readdress the situation.. but still, makes me wonder - - with this bad luck even GETTING them, what are they going to do on the battlefield?? lol

Customs rips apart us Canadians...it either takes 4 days to get to ya yanks or itll take weeks.

Ive been very unlucky with customs so ive decided to stop trading and sell what I can lol.

Oh btw Dont send Paintball Co2 Tanks in the mail..customs will keep them and everything else they deem fit..which was my tools and my barrel cleaner lol.

OH WELL...good luck with all your trades..the way customs is working these days yer gonna need it.
