the last 17 of the OSG Lost Legion Skeletons.
The other 3 have already been posted.
17 @1 point each, plus the same for the textured bases. 34 points.
I'm actually liking using the textures. Maybe it's the chemical smell, maybe it's the lack of sleep. LOL

72 + 34 = 106 to be added to 174. total 280.

I just realized that I read the bases points wrong, on the bigger models. I added too much. -14 from my total.

I also worked too many hours last week. Was supposed to be capped at 60, I worked 62. oops. lol

This might be my last for the year. I'm calling it done, but I'm not sure about the base rim. Should I stick with the brown? repaint it white? other color?...
I based it white, zenithal black over it. 3 different color shift Turbo Dork paints used. The rider is one, the boat a second and the ghosts a third.

I'm starting to like working with the snow texture.

8 points for a character on boat. 2 points for the base.
10 total.

Very cool model.
So 10 + -14 = -4 from your total, bringing you to 276!

Was hoping to a do a little painting over the holiday but the weather has been so wet/cold that I probably won't try to prime. Might snap some pics of the latest buildings for the dark ages village I'm building as a preview for 2024 though!

I'm a sucker for black trim or a colour that makes the model/base pop. In the case of snow, I usually go a light blue or grey. I'm not a fan of extending the base theme to the trim. So in my very biased opinion, the brown fits better than the white.

+19 (295) for KT.

I was trying for the extended snow drift effect, that only the model is seen, not the base.

Sorry everyone. It's been a very busy year and I havent had as much free time as I had hoped.

I'm going to consider this contest finished and the winner looks to be Akum! Third win on Btown!

I'll do up a thread this week for 2024 unless someone else would like to handle the points.
