That would be a total of 36 points then.

Valkria the Bloody?
http://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Kho ... the-Bloody

1st, she isn't that big of a model. She's the size of a infantry model. Yes she is detailed, but no bigger.
I built and painted 1 last year.

The points for this and the painting contest need to be reworked.

Are we going by pure size or is detail being considered?

Look at the Chaos Warriors I built this year and the ones I painted last year.
They are very simple to build. 6 pieces; head, front body, back body, left arm, right arm, base. No complications.
Not a lot of detail.

Now look at Valkria the Bloody. Same size as the warriors, but a lot more detail.

Same on terminators. The old metal CSM termies were ruled to be 1 point, but new[er] plastics are 2.
What about the new AoS Sigmarites? Some are the size or marines, others are the size of termies.

Look at the large models like knights. Building, painting and magnetizing the extra weapons and arms are about the same size as an infantry model. No extra points are awarded for them.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

That's a problem I found anoying last year. I was trying to come up with a new point scheme with the base of the miniatures. But then 40K adds thanks and transport, FoW tanks, non 28mm infantry on single base sometimes multiple on a base. You have space ships with X-wing and the like, Dropzone commander...... the list goes on.

It really gets harder to be "fair" with all the diffent games out there.

That's why I first put Valkia at 1 point, same base size as the "regular" chaos models.
info about shipping: Lower ratting pays/ship first and I live in Canada.

Info needed:

Base size of Prime?

Base on Reavers?

I only gave Valkia one point. Im using the 20-25-32 mm base is one point guide. Are mono pose grots worth less than one point? Would a SM Comannder decked out in 3 million purity seals be worth 10? Again this is a working compition using the Paint Challange system. Changes can be made.

Points updated pending base size info.
In an act of kindness and respect, please respond to PMs one way or the other with in a timely manner.
Im sorry but I do not ship outside the US.

You know the pictures of a warplane with a collection of any thing that plane can bring to war??

Like this:
buff.jpg
Ive always loved those pictures and I hate buying many models to do all roles so I finally did some heavy REM work:
20160110_234241.jpg
OOP DA Chappy with 2 rem. One in his arm pit and one on his back. I can now run any wargear option he can get:
20160110_234229.jpg
The dice are place holders for items I did not build or use. Shroud of Heros, melta bombs, power weapon maul, auspex, digital weapons, Fear mask and conversion feild. My only issue is the monster slayer weapon. I used a DA power sword left hand so if I use it its gonna look silly:

One point and on the board.

PS cell phone pictures. Can retake if requested.

That's a lot of magnets you put in there jason. Probably a fair amount of work. I'd say that might be worth an extra point.
On r/miniswap under the same name. Please be polite & answer PMs, even if all you tell me is "No thanks," or "I need more time." I expect lower rating to ship first, even if that's me, unless we work something out in advance.

I think I posted via my phone so I was really working and not thinking. I did not use magnets on the arms. I was affraid of drilling through the arm and into my finger. I used small, and I mean very small, cut of tin. Only the OOP main model itself has magnets in it and his jump pack as its a bit heavier.

Bah. I remember back in the old days, glue wouldn't set unless you mixed it with your fresh blood. ;-)

Seriously, good idea of only magnetizing 1 side. We use cheap nail heads cut off and glued on.

It still involved cutting, drilling, finding tiny bits, gluing those tiny bits to other tiny bits in a way that isn't visible.... I mean.... I still say Jason should get another point.
