Very Cool!

Very ugly looking monsters though (its back legs are backwards lol).

You previous post has a lot of awesome stuff, although the head with what looks like a spine (?) - Creepy!

What are these models from?

And are there clear?

The head/spine is a penangalan (sp?)- kinda' the southeast asian/japanese version of a vampire/mimic, which is some spooky parasite that kills people and inhabits their beheaded corpses to look normal until finding another victim.

The second set is clear, and yeah, love those creeps.

Both posts are from Malifaux (my current favorite game outside of the lightweight family), with the clear ones being limited edition

Buddy and I want to try malifaux but weren't sure how well it played.

IMHO, Malifaux has a really steep initial learning curve to just understand the game flow, since the model actions and objectives are so unlike most games (many games, upwards of 1/3 of your models are going to be utility/support instead of fighters), and then there's another big step before you're managing your actions well because there are so many options, but if you can get past those two hurdles, I find the game has extremely good replay value/depth, where I don't think I've had any two games play very similarly since there's so much variety of models and objectives.

And yeah, Malifaux minis take paint really nicely- the plastics are really smooth. It's part of why I like the game- since the minis are nice to paint and the vast majority of games will have fewer than 10 guys per side (unless you're playing one of the very few summon/swarm lists), it's easy to play with a fully painted set.

Sure! I definitely recommend the game if you're up for a complex game that takes some commitment to learn.

Very cool man! Are the doors painted by you too? I know the stands are but the doors seem different (maybe?).

Thanks! Nope, just the stands. I've been tempted (really tempted) to do a 3-D/fully painted space hulk corridor set, but my better half insists that the game and an extra set of tiles is plenty since we don't have a huge amount of storage space...
