That's pretty damned cool looking.
What manufacturer & model is that?

Thanks! They're the LE version of a Malifaux crew (those are Sorrows, from the No Shelter Here set)- each black friday weekend, Wyrd has been putting out clear versions of a few of their crews.

OOOO I like the spirits!

The girl looks awesome, is she some sort of vampire hunter? What is the ground made of? Has some sort of dirt texture looking to it.

Thanks!

On the girl, she's heavily modified from a Malifaux Death Marshal, who's basically a lawman trained in necromancy to "know thine enemy" and all that, so, pretty close, yeah. Counting her as a mage with a really nasty chain weapon from the same game. The ground is various grades of gravel over insulation foam. While it's not my most refined look, I like it for western stuff, since it gives me a way of getting volume and variation instead of the basic flat circle of gravel.

Wait a minute. I just reread your post about the Sorrows.
Those models are clear plastic before they're painted?
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

Yep. Mostly used acryllic thinner to get the transition smooth.

Oh- yeah, I'd have needed to get some crazy paint and/or techniques to allow them to react to light like that.

...or maybe just dodged the crap out of them in photoshop.

My first bust (well, in a very long time at least) and first official company paint job, really happy with how this guy came out. Koorg is by Deadsculpt, and they're currently running a horror minis KS under the campaign name "ater"
