Wow, I got to finish some of my WIP. He's 10 Goblin Spider riders. I have some Dwarfs WIP, and then got the battelion box of O&G. Now I have Orcs and Dwarfs WIP. ;-)

3 points each, since they are cavalry, for a total of 30 points.

I ended up painting them red instead of the black, that I was talking about.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

I like how you transitioned to black on the legs.
I'm wondering why you did the feathers green, though.

Lower rating? You ship first.

The black was just drybrushed over Ruby Red, which had been washed with Reikland Fleshshade, then a red glaze. [drybrushing black was last.]

I like the green. It's actually a different color green; Snot Green; than the 2 paints; Ork Flesh and Goblin Green;and 1 wash; Ork Flesh Wash; I used on the bodies.

Cool, those guys have a nice crab look.

Thanks. That's what I wanted. I've seen and been bit by a Black Widow, [ so black is out] and we had a cat bitten by a Brown Recluse. There's too many brown spiders around my house, and I wanted something to contrast the green of the goblins.
I thought about yellow, since I'm getting a giant spider from a friend and it's yellow, but I don't think I can paint good enough to do it right. [don't look to close to the goblins.]

So I got some feedback from...my wife. She said the banner wasn't lightningy enough. So now I hopefully bring you better lightning for the Storm Banner!

A Screaming Bell for your viewing pleasure! I spent WAY too many hours on this, but I think it came out well. Of course every time I look at it, I see more things I can do. What do you think? What would you do to improve it? I'm open to critique...which is why I post this :) Critique makes you better!

Would this count as a Large Vehicle? I'd assume so, it took forever to paint :)

Good point, now that I look at it there isn't enough contrast. I added too much glow...so now it isn't apparent that it's glowing :) I'll try adding some wash to the recesses.

Awesome Bell Dez. Did you paint as you assembled or painted once assembled? I got an assembled Bell in a trade and I am debating taking pieces off to paint.

For this one, I did partial assembly but left the major pieces unassembled. Much easier to paint :)
