Very nice once again, I love I you do your highlights, I'm always afraid to highlight up to pure white but it works really well but I just can't seem to pull it off even when looking at the Wolverine you painted up. Great work all around!
info about shipping: Lower ratting pays/ship first and I live in Canada.
thank you

Thanks! Even though I'm getting better at them, whites are still one of the hardest colors to get right. Regarding highlights like that, there's a certain amount of needing to just put faith in theory and experience, because some of it feels illogical when trying to apply it (like most color theory).

Also, more white coming your way (it's been quite a long time since I've done much with effects like this...)

Oh, yeah, these would be pretty tiny then, I think the sherman's around 2x5", 15mm scale, IIRC

Tanks aren't what got me into 40k, but they're certainly a big part of what's kept me, since no other game does large vehicles like that (even if I think 40k has kind of silly rules for said vehicles...).

Thanks! I've been trying out this new approach to black, and have been really happy with how it came out, since it's notably faster and smoother than how I used to do it. There are some pretty cool things you can do with dark colors, hoping to finally put my proverbial money where my mouth is and do up a guide or two, and thinking this one might be a good place to start...

Cool, yeah, I think it'll be a good starter, since it's one of the less work-intensive procedures, meaning I won't get distracted and keep going...

I'm working on some Night Goblin spiders I'm tinking about painting black. I was thinking about mixing gloss with black and then washing with blue.

You can skip the gloss mix (IMO). The blue wash will imitate that "sheen" you're looking for.
I love highlighting black with blue.
