Lower rating? You ship first.
Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.
To get some humor out of life and pass it on to other folk.
I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Hey Caleb, glad to hear you got your package. I still haven't heard anything from anyone else however. Like I've said before, I'll be checking in. Unfortunately I'm dealing with a family chrisis right now so it may not be as often as usual. However, if anyone needs any additional information, please feel free to PM, or post me. Thanks.
I still haven't received anything. If Max is to be believed (which at this point is a stretch), my package was mailed Thursday. If it came by slow boat from California, it could take up to seven days to get here. I'm giving it until Thursday before I lift his stay of execution and drop the hammer.
I never ship first when trading models for models. Don't even ask. Simultaneous shipping or no deal. I don't care what your rating is.

I have to agree with Erik/MM here. Drop all hammers RIGHT NOW! I've been defrauded once by Gester/Steve Jones (who is in Canada which makes things a helluva lot harder to get done) and almost by this POS. Don't wait any longer, drop the bombs now, show this community that it is not OK to do or even attempt this type of crap!

I seriously don't know why you people are waiting.
Haven't you waited long enough?
Whatever, it's not my stuff; do what you want. Guess the best way to learn is through experience.

mon·ey: noun; a good that acts as a medium of exchange in transactions.
Money is a good like everything else; if your rating is lower, you ship first whether money is involved or not.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm waiting because honestly, it's only been three weeks, and that's not really enough passage of time to assume fraud. Especially not when I have received word that the merchandise has been mailed.
Basically, I don't want to file a false report. If I call the cops today, and my package shows up tomorrow, then I look like a jackass. Even when dealing with "normal" companies, you have to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

I'm curious now.
About a month ago I bought some stuff from Simone Daily, he even gave me a confirmation number a week later.
The package never showed, and the confirmation number just said that it was received by the Rancho Cucamonga post office.
During this entire time I exchanged a couple emails with the guy and I filled a complaint with the post office (since the tracking number said they still had received it, and pretty much lost it). He said he did the same thing, then I never heard from him again.
Course, since the tracking number put the box with the post office I didn't suspect anything until I saw this thread, what do you guys think?

See, the bad thing is even with a conformation number, that can be "faked". Heck I can mail a simple 1st class envelope to myself and give you the conformation number that it was shipped, and it will state on the website "accepted by blah blah blah post office" and you will think that everything is golden and ship your package (assuming a simo trade)
Then when it comes back to me, I can say, "Oh man, this was returned to sender, I'll get this back out to you" and never send anything to you.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's what this guy was doing.
That's why I put more faith in the actual USPS receipt than anything else. That states that at least something was shipped directly to my zip code, and not just an arbitrary conf #
That's another reason why I always keep my receipts and offer to photograph a copy and send it to the person for verificiation along with any delivery conf.
Thankfully though I don't have to worry about it much because I've been here long enough that my rating and tenure speaks for itself, but that's something that I would suggest people might want to start doing for new traders

Didn't realize something like that was possible, since when you fill out confirmation you put in the to and from address on the form. But then again, he might have put one thing on the form and another thing on the box right?
But in my case, the confirmation # never recorded a delivery and when I asked them they claimed responsiblity (well my local branch, claimed that Simon's local branch screwed up anyways). You think he got lucky with this one? He didn't duck my emails until after the post office said to fill out a complaint, so he certainly played the part of concerned trader.

Anyone who spells their name "Maxx" is bound to be a chode. Red flag right there
Please contact me at titanversustitan@hotmail.com
LOL
yes, his name is Maxx...not Simone. I am Simone and if you've read the past postings, it's not me who's doing the trading or whatever. He is male, I am female. My name is not Simon, Simone Dailey, Daily, etc. It explains it all in this topic. If you run into any problems, please contact the admins......Will this ever end!!!! I apologize for my frustration but SHEESH!!!

I've tried to get DC on an envelope once. they will only put them on packages.
I sent an eBay payment in once and I was a little leery of the guy. They wouldn't do it.
Now, I'm not saying that what you are saying can't happen... just not on an envelope.
Also, once that DC arrives, it will show that it was sent to him.
IIRC, a "returned" package won't show it as delivered but as returned. Also... if you say you send me a package & it was returned to you after 2 or 3 days... and we live a state or more apart... I know you're lying. it takes longer than that for the package to arrive at the wrong Post Office, be checked in, then returned.

I do agree with this.
Precisely. That's another reason why I always keep my receipts and offer to photograph a copy and send it to the person for verificiation along with any delivery conf.
Also...for the OP... You don't have toput ANYTHING on the DC forms... I usually put what I shipped... or the eBay or BTown trade name... it's easier for me.

Well I'm not saying that it's super easy, but someone with a little inginuity can pull it off, especially on an unsuspecting or trustworthy person
That's why I always say, keep those receipts until you hear from the guy that he got your stuff, THEN go ahead and toss them out.
And you know what else sucks, and I've still not been able to figure this one out, is that you can't put tracking on international shipping. Atleast not from our USA end. That to me is ridiculous. Heck the frigging customs form has it's own unique number, but you're telling me we can't track that??
That's insane.........
