How much would you pay for this?

I have posted before about renters insurance and covering tiny metal men viewtopic.php?f=110&t=183011, and sicne then I have started cataloging my collection and trying to assign a value to them.http://tinymetalmen-vurumai.blogspot.co ... l/TMM%20CV I tend to try to estimate what is the least amount of money it would take to replace the minis judging by eBay and bits retailers. The hard part comes in when I try to evaluate the converting and painting.

For this particular mini, I want to know what you would pay for this mini. http://tinymetalmen-vurumai.blogspot.co ... lasma.htmlThis assumes that you would want it as is. Tell me what the mini, the bits, the conversion work and the paint would be worth to you. what's the most or least you would pay for it.

6. Everything ships with tracking. Items of sufficient value should be insured by the shipper.

Qualifiers for my comments: I no longer play 40k (haven't in years) and I never played BA when I did.

Min- $30
Max- $65

I am not taking into account piecing out the bits or anything like that. I tried to think what I would be willing to pay for a model like that, painted up (matching my scheme), sitting in a LGS when I needed to purchase a leader figure.
Always remember that your stuff is nearly worthless junk. The other person's items are highly valuable collectibles.

If I owe you a reference, please remind me.

I don't expect people to wait forever for an answer, and expect the same courtesy.

What *I* would pay would not be a fair assessment to you. I'm notoriously cheap, and don't usually pay much for painted minis when I buy them. Instead, I'll go with "What would be a typical retail value" on a model like this, as I have a LOT of experience in buying from eBay and commission painters, as most of my gaming group does so (with models of this quality and better).
If you were to set a "Buy It Now" price on a model of this quality on an army that was currently "in" (Blood Angels aren't really "in" right now), you could easily expect to see it go in the $60 to $80 range. If you were willing to set a price & wait until it sold, you might even get as high as $90 to $100.

Lower rating? You ship first.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.
