Steve,
Since you won't answer my emails I will post here in your ad. I sent you my minis. Now, 2 months later, I'm still awaiting pieces that you have posted in these new adds under a new name. Hmmm... trying to rip people off is not nice. I've been very, very, VERY patient up until now. methinks you have been caught in your game. I would either like the minis you promised me or my minis back. If not, it seems that there's alot of people here who have interest and a means of retaliating. Please have the common decency of a human being and do the right thing. For your sake I hope you choose wisely. If anyone is starting a complaint against this guy please pm me or email me. I'll be glad to give whatever support I can.

Under normal circumstances I'd suspend everyone for threadjacking. However, as the individual in question has already been banned from Bartertown...this is being moved to the bad trader reporting forum.

Caveat Emptor, folks. I do believe this is Warmungerer (erererer) who also had another few screen names here.

I'd like to ask everyone's help in eliminating multiple screen names. This ain't eBay, it ain't AOL. We're working to combine emails into ITL listings, but it'll take a while. In the meantime, please report any instances of multiple screen names to me and the offending party will be offered a chance to rectify the situation or get suspended(indefinitely).

Yes by the description that was given to me it sounds like him and the WP mewans the mounted an don foot Warrior Priests he has listed. I haev already filed fraud fors with the USPS and the Feds.

Hi Everyone,

Well, now that this is official, then I will provided all of the specifics dealing with my particular situation. First, I do want to apoligize for Lin and the moderators for using Steve's post in this manner, but I wanted to give him a final chance to contact me since he would not or could not respond to my emails. Little did I know that when turned over the rock, I would find 4-5 others with similar storys as mine!

I was able to obtain Steve's phone number from a fellow Bartertowner. His story was shacky and said he said he never received any of my emails,nor had he received the minis in trade. Before we hung up, he said he would email... guess what, no email.

After waiting a week and a 1/2, I decided to contact Steve again to see if everything was ok. I almost always receive packages from Canada by not later than a 1 week. The same goes for recipients in Canada, at least from what I have seen Here goes:

After that, I happened to see his ad, which is the very first post on this chain. I saw that the items I was trading for were, you guessed it, on his ad. The rest is history. Since then, I have had 4 individuals contact me via email.

Now getting back to my conversation with Steve on the phone last night. As I had stated, his story was shaky. With my trade, he said that he has tons of Empire and wanted to keep the same numbers of swordsmen and halberds in the army he was trading...strange, but ok, maybe. Then I asked about other trades. One poor fellow traded him a Tomb Kings army for the Empire army, apparently the same time when I made my trade to Steve. Steve says he did receive that shipment, but didn't like the contents and therefore was returning it. Needless to say the Army has not been returned. I asked Steve about some other trades; he stated that he never received thier shipments either and therefore wasn't sending them his end. Hmmm....

Alright, so from where I see it, Mr. Steve Jones has been given 1 too many chances to answer these aligations and has chosen not to. Therefore, I will head up the issue of pressing charges under the claim of International Mail Fraud. Any and all who have a current claim or have been scammed such as I, please feel free to contact me at grotmaster@yahoo.com.

Also, if anyone can help us on how to proceed with filing a claim such is this, your help would be much appreciated.

Bartertown is a great place and I aim to keep it save from Mr. Steve Jones and the likes!

I live quite near to Mr Jones and can confirm that the above address is correct.

Also on some FYI his brother owns/owned a bookstore/game store in St Thomas. Look it up and give him a call I beleive the name was/is Rogue books. He could possibly be found there.
