How do I attach Pics?

How do I attach Pictures to the thread itself? I have alot of pictures I need to upload for my mega list?

Below the box you type your post in is a tab - upload attachment. Once you browse and add the file, it will show the file at the bottom there with an option to 'place inline'. That will copy the code up for you into the message.

Perhaps you can state WHICH type of image file you are attempting to attach.

Sorry, all pics were taken with a digital camera then exported to my PC all are jpeg format.

Eliminate all the potential sources of error by ensuring that:

a) the file is on your desktop
b) the file is not ginormous

also you can load them to something like photobucket. [a free site]. then copy the link to the image and post it that's what I do.

I find kturock's suggestion to be my favorite. That way, I never have to worry about the pics falling off the system, file size, or using them elsewhere.
It's also substantially faster.

Right up until your workplace blocks whatever photohost is being used, or the user forgets to make the album public, or the link won't copy/paste, or....

Plus, I seem to remember someone telling me to host pics here once:

I only told you that from a greed standpoint. LOL I was at work and wanted to see what you were posting.
Photobucket is the ONLY hosting site that's remained unblocked at my work. Posting at Bartertown does ensure, however, that it won't be blocked for anyone (who can get into BTown from where they are).

Thanks for all the feedback, I setup a Photo Bucket account and am in the process of moving all the pics to that. Over 300 pictures of everything, I'll post the links on my threads and for some of the higher quality models I was going to try to get on the thread. Hoping to have my mega threads completed by tonight.
