Hi guys.
I would like to know if there's a retailer for Forge World products in North America : buying from UK is quite expensive.
Thanks !

Re: Forge World figurines
Forgeworld has no resellers except for, (at least in the past,) the Battle Bunker GW stores. (If you were asking because you were looking for a place that offers discounted FW you are totally out of luck.) The cheapest way to order Forgeworld is to do a group order with friends to break the 250 GBP mark and get it shipped free. Other than that, you could always post up a trade ad looking for specific models and likely get a hit here although it might take some time.

Re: Forge World figurines
Unfortunatly, FW stuff is currently only sold by FW (website, conventions)
Ebay wise, there are a lot of recasts going on currently, i would avoid sellers from Russia and China....

Re: Forge World figurines
Unless you're travelling to Lenton, UK and actually visit the Warhammer World Store, you won't find any FW models in store.
I'm a decent owner of FW kits, over the years i ordered several times from them, bought stuff at conventions, all that in different countries.
Here's my tip list with FW kits ordering
1- if you can, reach the 250 £ mark, free express shipping means your order will be there within 2 weeks, otherwise it can take up to 5 weeks as they are quite busy currently. Combined orders with a gaming group is a good idea, i personnaly wait until i get 250 £ worth and then order. I order stuff from them every other month, sometimes new releases make me order right away...
2- there are also time period where you don't want to order: i.e. Christmas time as the volume increases, the quality control decreases, prior to the UK GD also as well as your order will be delayed unless you follow tip #1
3- inspect all the kits when you received it, chances you get miscasted parts or broken are there, just give them a call with your order number, they'll replace the parts or the kits free of charge and let you keep the miscasted one. Do the same if you buy at a convention, they'll exchange the kit and even check the parts with you if they are not in a rush
4- if you pre-order something, expect large delay in shipment unless you follow tip 1. It took 4 weeks after the release date for me to get the Storm Eagle....
5- Btown is safer for FW kits than Ebay
but rarer...
Also remember that there are no import taxes on FW kits coming from UK to USA but they are from UK to Canada, none in Europe of course.
Cheers
