I was going to buy Gorilla glue the last time I needed some, but on the materials, it talks about not using on different types of plastic (polyethylene and polypropylene). I thought the miniatures were polyethylene?

I meant it didn't dry even with the accelerator. I know it's a weaker bond. That's why I try not to use it.

I've had super glue, zap a gap and even the generics at work dry out when not used for monthes.

The zapagap I'm using now is getting thick and drying out.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

I use a silicone-based adhesive that I can buy from Dollar Tree. I use it for any bond that isn't styrene-to-styrene including pewter to styrene, finecast to styrene, styrene to steel, and it's held up pretty well for me. The main thing I like about it is that it's actually flexible and won't snap off if you twist an arm wrong.

I've used GF9 Hobby Glue for some time now and am pleased with the results. Just a dab seems to hold plastic and finecast just fine and with a little patience metal models as well. The lid glued itself shut due to some neglect on my part and when I cut it off I couldn't reseal the bottle  It has been open for some two months and has yet to dry out
