Dimensions for 15mm wargaming buildings?

Greetings all.

Trying to create some Normandy terrain (e.g., buildings, maybe a bridge, etc...). Just wondering if there are any general rule of thumbs for building for 15mm wargaming in terms of building dimensions? Size of doors? Windows? Height of each floor of a building? Stair dimensions? Etc...

Also, would love some advice on colors for WWII Normandy buildings... thank you!

Any insight you might have would be appreciated.
