Wow that's amazing!!!! I don't think you need anything, that looks awesome! About how long did it take to paint?

Base should be a different color so you can tell where the mini starts and the ground begins. The base being the same color makes it look like you airbrushed the mini and were to lazy to repaint the base.

That's a very good point. You could try painting it a dark brown maybe.

Are you going to post the new pics so we can see what it turned out like?

Wow that model looks awesome.
Chaos Space Marines - 6000
Orks - 2600
Tau Empire - 2500
Cryx - 75
Isengard - 3000

Give me 2-3 days to commit on a trade in case something better pops up then your deal.

Sorry but the lower rating you ship first thing doesn't work on me. Unless your a fortune 500 company and you have the power to bully around a new company then thats the only time one could pull such a feet. If you want to be secure, send pictures of what you have. Its more efficient for both parties.

Got to agree on this. The base should be darker so the model stands out more. Maybe mix in some dark browns and greens.

nice model here.

here are the comments:
the base, as stated, might be better in a different color, brown would add more contrast and a better reading of the model. Also the base looks fast finished compared to the model itself, a bit more of details and finishing would increase the overall quality of the work. If you look at the high score on CMON or GD winners, you'll see the base get as much attention as the model and that's the line between a good paint job and a great piece. Also, try to have a color that is not far away of the colour wheel otherwise it is ugly...;)

Contrasts. you have a good control on your blending, transitions are clean and smooth, but the overall reading is unclear, the focus point is more on the belly than the menacing face. Even if it is you to decide where you want people to look first, a higher contrast and a focus on the face would be, IMHO, a killing combo. also the spine looks a bit fast painted, the blood masking the visibility of an important detail here)

Lights: i don't know if you were following a zenith lightening, if yes the shoulders, the arms and the head should receive more lights and so be a tone or two or 10 lighter (again contrast is the key, and you have the blending skill to make it works) that the rest of model. if you are interest in this style of painting, there are plenty of good tutorials online.

Overall it is a great model. but i see it more an awesome gaming piece than a display model (no harm intended, i try to be constructive in my criticism)

Keep up the good work

Cheers
