For those of you who are curious, GW sent out an email to store managers that there are now no more "official" Bizaare Bazaars or any other type of store-sponsored bitz and kits trading in GW stores. Dakka source thread below:

Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

Seems like they are just wanting to make more money for themselves (although it actually makes them MORE money to have official swap meets like that as it encourages people to buy more and gets them in the front door to make impulse buys). Another reason to avoid actual "game workshop" stores and do business at independents. Of course, as others have already mentioned in the other site you could always just step outside the front door and they cant legally say boo to you about it. You might also notice that it said "official". that doesn't mean that customers cant organize their own "unofficial" ones. That would be up to interpretation of course.
Treat other members with the same dignity, respect and honesty you would like to be treated with.

Honestly, give it about 6 months and the guy who outlawed them will be fired and the new guy will undo everything till he gets fired. It is the GW circle of life!
I have too much stuff, please help me get rid of it!
