I wish the Scourge feathered wings were slightly bigger, so I could use them on my Tzeentch Daemon Princes... Otherwise they are all gorgeous models, some good use of plastic. I just see conversion ideas though as I am not a DE player.

I have to say that the Dark Eldar line is probably the best stuff I have seen out of GW in quite some time. Very nice.
I don't think it's enough to get me to drop ALL the money needed to field an army, but it is probably the only thing that I have seen of late out of GW
that actually warrants their outrageous prices (if only a little).

Very nice stuff indeed.

When the new DE came out, I was stoked.
I've been interested in DE for a long time. Only their out dated codex kept me from getting into them. My other armies (CSM, SM & Orks) aren't really fragile armies. I wanted an army different than what I'd been playing, so I could expand.

Once the models started coming out, I was sold. Even if I SUCK ASS with the army, I wanted it just for the sheer joy of using those models and for the challenge.

Every release (barring the prices on the recent metal models) has made me excited to be collecting and playing this army.

I've not seen a single model in the entire line so far that I wouldn't be happy to own and paint. I just can't start a fourth army out of thin air though. It will take lots of $$$ to do what I want to do. Trading aside, I would have to lose what I already have in order to gain what I want. Not quite willing to do that just yet. Now if someone wanted to toss some new DE goodness my way I certainly wouldn't turn it away...

That site is labeled "games" and, thus, blocked from my work.

Is that picture any different from the one I have in the initial post?

Very nice. My only complaint was that they went with a Vyper fusalage. I was hoping the Venom would look more like an elongated Reaver.
By trading with me you agree that all signature based trade rules are not in force. If it isn't in the PM thread then it doesn't apply.

I think that both the Venom and the Razorwing are far too close to straight Eldar for my tastes. I've been really impressed with the DE line so far, but these too models aren't distinct enough for my tastes. I'm also a little annoyed at the Scourges--I think the DE aesthetic should lean far more heavily towards the batwings and away from the feathers. YMMV.

Not sure fluff wise but are not DE eldar that have been tainted by chaos? So why wouldn't their technology and design base come from the original eldar vehicles that they started out with?

Like chaos space marines using rhino chassis and what not?
