Those look really good, Jim.
One thing... I was admiring the blonde beard on the cannon crewman, so I enlarged the photo to peek at it.
I noticed that your cannonball carrier has flesh colored eyebrows.
It won't matter on the field, of course. I just wanted to point it out in case you hadn't noticed and it mattered.

EDIT: after I posted that and went into the basement to find the dwarf cannoneer.. we lost power. 8+ hours later and we have power back with the house freezing cold, and the first thought in my head.. "Finish the dwarf!" .. it's a sickness...

EDIT AGAIN: Captain Angry Eyebrows has been re-done..

Points updated! porksulime boots the intrepid Norseman down to third place and imp522 stretches his lead out even further. Can anyone catch him? I wouldn't bet on it!

And just to liven up my humble home at 4th place.... here's a whopping 4 points!

I've always loved Averland and their, (unfortunately deceased,) mad-as-a-hatter Elector Count. (My guess was always syphilis.) The paint scheme is definitely not for the faint of heart, but I REALLY like the looks of these guys all decked out in yellow and black.

How do those size up to 40K models?
I was thinking about looking into picking a couple up to use as DE Sslyth proxies.

Thanks.

A little bit taller than a space marine but not as wide. No idea how they would work next to the DE Sslyth guys but if you get them and don't like them will work a deal for them if you want so your not stuck with them.

GW doesn't make a model for the Sslyth yet. That's why I was looking at proxies (if I go that direction).
Your info helps. Thanks!

Sometimes I wish I wasn't so damn ana l about my painting. I am 99% done my tanks but still need to get that effect I am looking for. I wasn't getting it with JUST washes so I broke out the chalks and dusts, which of course takes FOREVER. I was supposed to be done these a month ago.

Really slow week for me, only one model done. Between working extra hours and being sick just couldn't get much done this week so here is Lord Vandrian, Necropolis Solo for Reaper's Warlord

Yes, I'm just flitting from army to army and painting small amounts of figures for each before I roll back to the start and do it all over again. Takes forever, but it's the way I am. (For those unaware, I have MADD. M.iniature A.ttention D.efecit D.isorder. Nothing to do with drinking, driving, or angry mothers.)
