Dwarf Slayer and Iron Kingdoms Babe

Post by GearHead »

Just finished these two. I've had the dwarf for ages but could never bring myself to sell or trade him, and now I finally got around to painting him! The girl is Valeria Alvaro from the Iron Kingdoms RPG line. She turned out better than I thought she would.

A few trade guidlines:
1) If your feedback is significantly lower, I expect you to ship first, even if I'm buying- Money carries greater risks than minis: I can't buy groceries with a box of Tac Marines!
2) Communication is key! I'm a reasonable guy (I try,) so if there's a problem, tell me!
3) I package things well, you should do the same. Protect minis from each other, too.
4) Leave feedback!

Nice.

I'm especially fond of the Slayer. I've always liked the WHFB "Slayers."
What techniques did you use for the coloration on the cheeks and nose?

Lower rating? You ship first.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Thanks!

For the cheeks and nose, I just used a very very thin glaze, about 5 layers. It took me all of about 2 minutes; the paint was so watered down that each layer dried almost instantly.
