Yeah, all the contact information was received. I'm at a crossroads where I need to decide if going through will a small claims court filing will bear fruit since it will cost around $100 to file.
My house was broken into last year and the cultprit was caught and even convicted and ordered to pay restitution. But he decided not to pay, and nothing happened. It went against his credit score. It's really dumb.

Ok, so I had a lengthy talk with my contact at the SAPD and they informed me updating info here probably shouldn't happen anymore since it's a felony case and I'm a key witness. Looks like this won't be anything like my past experience and the police are getting very involved. They just need to workout a bit a back-log and then they'll be rolling this guy down.

Alright, I'll be making the call ASAP. I was surprised that anyone actually got anywhere. I got a letter from one of the 4 different places I filed a grievance and they pretty much said, "Sorry, we'll look into it but you won't really get anything out of this."
