Dang. If you can make an army of just Raiders and jetbikes, I might have to do that. Of course, being pro-painted helps them out, but I really dig the models on their own.

LOL, So does chaos and the SoB. I see what you mean though. A lot of open flesh. They were able to make the reguler eldar more "realistic" in that sense by using the skintight mesh armor. Many players just get tired of seeing the walking suits of armor or the "same old same old" and like to see something different. Personally, I see these more as evil gladiators (although you can make a case that gladiators look like S&M people). Just a matter of what you have on your mind when you look at them.

Chaos & Sisters are not as bad as some of these. They are way over the top for me. I'll see what the rest of them look like though. Maybe I'll stick with the good Eldar & just paint a darker scheme.

actually, anything for a sensation..pleasure, pain, getting high, music, loud music, soft music, symphany or cacohany..any sensation.. once you do something long enough, you no longer feel it,, are affected by it. the more you drink or get high, the more or stronger substance you need for the same level of sensation.

pain and pleasure are the same. look at porn stars..find one who's been in the business awhile and doesn't have pieceings..

drink long enough and you build up a tolerance, pot, coke, heroin, x, lsd, oxy name it...coffee, caffeine...anything that stimulates the body. the more you do, the more you need. hell, even the high from enorphins from working out. the 'runner's high'.

listen to the 'making of warhammer online' interviews.. there's 1 in particular why they said they couldn't use any god but tzeentch for the chaos players to follow. khorne would be nothing but fighting. nurgle just decay. and slannesh would be too adult for their audience....no one looks at the minis, but for a computer game, it gets reviewed and rated.

I vastly prefer this version. They look evil, not like some sculptor was lazy and threw a bunch of spikes on Eldar.

Looking at JG's concept sketches he really put a lot of thought into the design. It really paid off IMHO.
