Trying to find a trade partner from another site.

Post by don_mondo »

Not here on Bartertown, but I'm trying to find someone.

Shane Evans, Columbus, OH.

If anyone has any info on this individual, I would appreciate it.

I need to find him.

I did a quick reference search for you. We have nobody by that name having any references here.

I also searched the member logs in the Admin Control panel. None of our members uses that email address.

I did a modified search, as well. We don't have "military_scholar" in ANY member email addresses.

Yeah, I tried pretty much the same searches. Was hoping someone else might know him from outside bartertown.

I imagine you have already checked, but on yellow pages dot com there are 3 listings for that name near Columbus, but none directly in that city. They might be little suburbs of Columbus or some such. It might be worth a look. It lists their phone numbers as well, so you could try calling them.
Always remember that your stuff is nearly worthless junk. The other person's items are highly valuable collectibles.

If I owe you a reference, please remind me.

I don't expect people to wait forever for an answer, and expect the same courtesy.

I know that name sounds familiar- let me take a peek through my records to see if I can't find him.
Do I owe you a trade ref? Remind me- sometimes I forget!
Awaiting trade refs from: tristym, yazaran

If you don't have your Location listed, take a second and update it!

-I respond within 48 hours unless utterly incapable. Please do the same. Any offer I make stands for that long as well.
-Lower rating? You ship/pay first. Same goes for me.

'How Much for...?' messages will no longer be replied to at all. I've been nice about it, now I'm done.

Any particular reason your trying to get ahold of him so that I can tell the Columbus guys why I need to find this guy? Will look a bit odd if I go asking... Hey, do you know so and so? Just wondering because So and So is trying to find him... no clue why though.

Hopefully you guys understand what I'm getting at.

Anyways;
I live in Cleveland, but I'll send an email to some of the Central Ohio Warhammer Slackers, AKA COWS, guys down in Columbus. The guys in Cleveland have a healthy rivalry with those guys and we all get along fairly well. - Now saying that, I don't believe I've ever heard mention of him myself.

George B.

edit: Emails sent to Columbus folk
