Game one-
Against a very nice feller playing chaos. Idiot us played on the extra 2 feet of an 8 foot board. That allowed him to pretty much camp on 3 objectives out of the reach of my guns. Should have ben a tie but my callidus assassin and Marbo (along with a host of shooting) was unable to roll anything better then ones and twos to kill the lesser daemons holding the tiebreaker objective.
Minor loss and a very good game.
Game two-
I played a Blood Angel army and I have to say, my opponent was hosed as I was able to immobilize his rhino with Mephiston and with the lack of cover, I mowed him down as he came at me. He made a few other mistakes that cost him in his frustration and I was almost embarrassed to find he had killed very little of my stuff while he had only a single devastator, 2 tactical marines and the immobilized rhino left at the end. Karma also handed me a few very good dice and my opponant some bad ones. Seems like it was compensation for the horrible horrible dice rolls I had trying to dislodge the daemon unit in game one.
Massacre win. Still fun because he a was decent sport .
Game three-
Played a tau army. When will I ever learn to not try to outshoot these critters lol.
The scenario got me. The extra battle points for vehicles gave him a minor win while I walked away with more victory points. I know I CANT be the only guard player who had this sort of result on this game.
Minor loss. A good and challenging game.
Overall, I came in 5th.
