Moving Day!!

We're moving this week, there's going to be some changes.

1. Buh bye chat. Sorry, but the new hosting company does not allow that program. There are other alternatives I will be configuring and trying.

2. Gallery is offline. I took the gallery down today, it should be back when we move to the new site.

3. I'm going to take about an hour of downtime this afternoon/tonight, probably less.

No posts will be lost!
No trade refs will be lost!
No PM's will be lost!


Why are we moving? We're expanding, bigtime. We've got an 40k discussion site which is going to hop on over onto our technology. Once that's done, I'm going to offer up to established users that they can OWN their own forum and make some money. No technical experience required.

Thanks for the heads up. You are moving to a new provider, that allows free forum space? I can't really imagine why, but I suppose it's good for those who want to get into it.

For chat, how about setting up a temporary AIM chat or something like that? I would much prefer IRC, but it's probably too much trouble to get people on there at short notice. Neither is as useful for trading as the previous system (not linked to user accounts), but it would at least be a start.
