It is kinda hard to trade when people don't reply to PMs or posts.
Please reply, lots of us want your stuff.
And besides it is the polite thing to do.
I only ship priority mail only and would like my trading partners to do the same.

might those trays hurt you with regards to blast templates? how close togeather are the figs.... 2inches or closer?
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.
If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Movement trays can be a good idea, but I think GW's WoTR will be a poor execution of your idea. As Pork pointed out, you'll be extremely vulnerable to blasts due to the design of the bases. I know there are other 25mm round movement trays on the market and think you'd be better served by them.

4.50 for 3 or 10 dollars for one... that is an expensive rescue
the WOTR is not so close that they touch and it holds 8 so there will be two that i can maneuver a bit.

armorcast makes one too but once again it is expensive.

Re: war of the ring movement trays and 40k - can they work?
I personaly frown on static movement trays of 8 or more models because if the unit gets assaulted, has to go around terrain (think a small pole that's set), goes on a teered (sp?) hill the amount of pulling models off the movement trays to rearange them tends to get extremly annoying to sit through.
If u really really want to use them I highly suggest terraform battlefeild scenery movement bases as they make them for 3 or 5 bases which really makes my complaints less well complainey.
I think they are oop now but if u really want some I have some you can cast yourself (very simple mould).

i feel the same way EZ but when you have 70 - 80 + guys to move it seems like it would be useful.

Yes it will but I'd still suggest smaller people base count with magnets will be much easier in the long run then the 8 man rectangles that lotr ones are.usernamesareannoying wrote:i feel the same way EZ but when you have 70 - 80 + guys to move it seems like it would be useful.
Pluss the terraform (armorcast) ones are in more of 40k look as they are in 'V' formation for 3man and 'M's for 5man (the points are the base holes) with 1/2in between each hole.

Be careful, though.
There are many players who won't like you using them.
Strict 40K rules say you move one model at a time and complete moving one unit before moving on to the next.

Meh, it's fine. We have guys who use trays, and they go off tray when needed.

hey john, in your opinion from what you have seen, how does it seem to work out? does the benefit of ease of movement out weigh the bad of possible template death?JohnHwangBT wrote:Meh, it's fine. We have guys who use trays, and they go off tray when needed.

Re: war of the ring movement trays and 40k - can they work?
Typically, it's tied to horde armies (Nids, Orks, Guard) to keep things easy for the player. For Guard that don't move, or armies that move in blobs, no problem.usernamesareannoying wrote:hey john, in your opinion from what you have seen, how does it seem to work out? does the benefit of ease of movement out weigh the bad of possible template death?
When you have slopes or HtH, if you can't balance the tray, or prop it, then the models come off. We're a relatively casual bunch, so it's not a big deal. The increased risk of template death is something each player has to decide for themselves.
