I think you are thinking of another site.

The Warstore has been totally ace for me, and I have used them for about 2 years now. I also confess that MOST of what I use them for is at the 100$ level or less..

However, twice in that time there was a mistake or broken parts in my order, and they OVERNIGHTED me the correction. Didn't charge me for that either.

Neal is 95% of the time available on the phone, and puts his personal cell on the website.. very responsible customer service.

About the only thing I can ding them on is that BW Bits is one of the most expensive bits services.. but since that is less than his core business, I don't worry about that much.

Good Day,

I have to concur with Porkuslime.

I live 2 1/2 hours away from the closest gaming store so I do a good chunk of my buying from Neal. I have had a couple of issues but I let them know and they took care of them asap.

Customer service has always been great - whether by email or phone you always get resolution to your problems.

I know for a fact I have talked to Neal on at least 2 occasions and that was calling the regular number.

I would wish you good luck with this but with Neal there isn't any luck involved.

Thank you,

The Warstore is most likely the best online retailer of gaming crack out there. They've been around since '99 and I think I've had dealings with them going back almost as long. I even had the opportunity to visit their "store" location last summer. Great bunch of folks. I can vaguely recall having maybe one issue with an incorrectly packed order and it was handled smoothly if it did at all happen. :-P

Other than dealing with your LGS, you can't do better getting your fix anywhere else.

I would agree. I've only dealt with them two or three times, but each time the packages were shipped in very short order and arrived with no hassles. And they have a pretty darn good selection to boot.

Hate to be the "me too" but... "me too". The War Store is really the Easy Button of online retailers. They don't always have the cheapest prices but they ALWAYS have the fastest service and least hassle. Big thumbs up from me.

Always have good service from them, I don't think you can go wrong with ordering from them. 99% of the time if the warstore sells it and I need it I get it from them.

Man, I feel quite odd posting this since everyone else so far loves them but since you ask, I shall tell.

A couple of years ago I ordered a large bag of bits from them, as well as 1 tau Devilfish. A week or so later I received the bits, but not the Devilfish. I called in and a woman answered the phone (I am guessing this is no Neal  ). She seemed less than happy do deal with me, but I figured that they were being swamped and I might have been the third "where's my stuff" customer in a row or something. Plus, I have worked in a couple of game stores in the past, and there is not much more bothersome than demanding nerds, haha.

I told here what was wrong, she asked some basic info, then said "Ok" and hung up. That's it. There was no "sorry about that/we'll get that right out to you/kiss my rear-end" nothing. A week later I received my Devilfish.

That was my first and last dealing with Warstore. I tend to order near the $100 mark when I purchase online, and I don't often look for rarer lines of figures or anything, so I have found other stores that fill my orders in a manner that does not anger me (miniature market and FRP), plus, now I use Bartertown more often than stores.

Anyhow, I think I am the odd one out on this. Over several different forums I have only encountered a handful of similar complaints, and oddly enough they all involve a "dissmissive woman on the phone". I imagine it is a relative or something, otherwise I would think that they would have been disciplined fairly quickly since Neal is supposed to be on top of things there.

I have bought from the warstore more times that I could ever possibly count. Occasionaly there has been the odd item short or something along those lines especially when the order is large but it is always promptly corrected. They have even helped me out with things that really wern't their fault such as getting mispacked miniatures and then NOT being able to get satisfaction from the manufacturer (PP)despite repeated assurances. The one thing you could possibly run into with import stuff is ordering more than is in stock. Then is could take awhile to get restocks.

The warstore is great. The only complaint I have (besides prokslimes bits rate) is that I cant use them anymore, since now being in NY i get charged sales tax, so not much savings anymore....

But he's VERY reliable.

I have ordered a few times each time it has been great. Order confirmation by at least the next day. Order shipped within a few days with tracking info. A+ in my books.
