Wesley and I agreed to a trade, I have sent him the items as promissed. They were delivered to the address given to me on 12-28-09.
USPS tracking number 9405503699300090211392

I haven't heard from Wesley since then. I have tried PM ing him on this forum and I tracked him down over on the Privateer Press forum and have tried contacting him via email there. He has not logged in on either forum in some time.

Looks great to me! Let's go ahead and make the trade. You've got the lower rating, so if you could ship first, that would be great. Also, I don't get paid (and am totally broke) until the 18th, so I won't be able to ship until then. If you want to delay your shipping a bit, I won't mind.

Thanks!

Hey sorry for the delay, things have been a little hectic for me lately. /I am still interested in trading for Alexia and the risen. I will get pictures taken of the marines on Saturday and get them off to you.Quote DeadMilkmanRe: H: Khador, Mercs, other W: $$/40K/Fantasy

Here we go.

Block o' risen. The Khador ones are based on cork rocks and sand.

Alexia and Thralls. The thrall on the left does have a head, but its still black. I also don't think its the original head, its another skeleton head I found somewhere to give them some variety. His sword has also come unglued, but it is not broken and is included. And yes, the Thrall on the center right is locally known as Opera Zombie.

Let me know. Thanks!

No worries about the arm if you can't find it. I can probably scrounge something.

Still haven't gotten the pics taken yet. The holidays were pretty busy. I'm going to take some this afternoon, and hopefully get them to you this evening.

Thanks!

The dread arms are not glued. I believe the BFM tac squad hands/bolters are glued on. The AOBR are not, just cut off the sprue. I split a box set with someone at the club who wanted the orks.

I did see a problem with the tech marine though. He is missing his upper left servo arm on the harness. The 4 arms are seperate pieces but I am missing one. I don't know if this is a deal breaker for you. I can provide an alternate arm from a servitor model if you like. I don't know what could have happened to it. I will look through my marine storage cases and check my bits box. I never assembled him so it isn't as though it broke off, it must have fallen between the cracks somewhere.Quote DeadMilkmanRe: H: Khador, Mercs, other W: $$/40K/Fantasy

That sounds awesome! Are the dreadnoughts arms still removable, or have they been glued down? Either way, color me interested. I'll get some pictures taken of the minis, that is one squad where everything is either painted or at least primed.

It might be a couple days, because of the holiday. I should get the pictures to you by Saturday evening at the latest.

Thanks!

I would be interested in Alexia and CO. I have one of each AOBR and BFM tactical squads, AobrDread and the direct order techmarine with servo harness (the one with out a helmet.) The dread is assembled, the marines have been taken off the sprue and the techmarine is bare metal and largely unassembled. Nothing painted. I would be willing to send pics if you will do the same.

There is paint on some things, but since its metal, it'll strip right off. If the particular state of the minis is really important to you, I will give a more detailed account of specific models.

Wants
Cash is always good! 50% of MSRP (based on current prices) is the base price for minis, 40% of MSRP for models missing parts/cards. If you're looking to buy more than $100 MSRP, then 40% of MSRP is the base, 35% of MSRP for models missing parts/cards. Two price structures, which one you use depends on how much you want to get.

I will also be charging shipping for cash buys, amount will depend on how much you get.

I'm looking to start up a Space Marine army. I'm looking specifically for AoBR and BfM Tactical Squads, regular tactical squads, AoBR dreads, ironclad dreads, rhinos, drop pods, and a techmarine w/ servo harness. Also always looking to expand my IG. Cadians (particularly looking for plasma gun guys, metal or plastic), both platoons and heavy weapon teams, Chimeras, Sentinels, etc.

Also looking to start up a Warriors of Chaos army for fantasy. Mounted Marauders, Chaos Knights (ensorcelled weapons), Chaos lord on Juggernaut, chaos hounds, chaos chariot, lord on steed of slaanesh, lord on demonic mount, chaos spawn, all good stuff.

For models in trade, I'm willing to take any condition, as long as they aren't broken. I'd prefer unpainted/unassembled, and I'll trade more in your favor for it. Metal I can strip, so I don't care about paint on those. Please take a quick picture of assembled/painted stuff, so I know what I'm trading for.

PM and email are both good ways to contact me. I ship USPS with delivery confirmation, and I would much appreciate it if you would as well. Lower rating ships first. I don't mind shipping to Canada, but I'd like to keep things in North America. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks!

Wes

Edit: Marked items currently pending in trades, and cleared up my purchase price language.

Thanks for looking!

Wes

You should change it so you have the pms in chronological order so it can hp the mods help u.
Lowest rating ships first even from payments

The PM's are in chronological order. They start with the most recent and end with the oldest PM sent. They are dated.

Is it possible that you are pulling the trigger a bit soon on this one? It's been a week since your stuff arrived, but there has been a holiday and a weekend in between. Yes, lack of PM answering is not good, but again, it is a busy time.

Also, chronological order means oldest (first) to newest (last). This is not a requirement, but it does make it easier for the mods to help you out.

None of this is meant to criticize - I'd probably be on pins and needles right now too.

I hope you get your stuff.

He hasn't been on since Dec 23. He could have run into some family issues. And a person with his record doesn't usually just turn rouge.

I've dealt with Wes a couple of times here and plenty of times on the Privateer forums. He's a stand up guy and not one to turn and run off. The fact that he hasn't logged in points to him being away, rather than something sinister IMO.

Regardless, a BTR posting 7 days after a DC confirmation of delivery is pretty rash. Doubly so with the recent holidays. I'd give it another week at least. Then again, that's me. You're certainly free to handle this however you wish.

If WW was going to be on vacation or whatever, then he should have given a heads up before hand. Going a full week without contact, particularly after delivery is not cool.

If/when WW makes good, then this BTR should be updated to reflect that fact. In the mean time, yeah, the OP has a valid complaint about non-communication.

He hasn't been on since the 13th not 23rd so hasn't gotten a lot of the PMs.
Yeah IF he was going to be on vacation he should have said something, maybe something happened to him or a family member.
He might not even know the package has arrived because he's not home.
Seven days without communication is a long time. It's a mistake but on a 100 plus trader *probably* not a ripoff.
I'm glad it's not me.

I think you mean that they are in reverse chronological order. Though it is NOT a rule, it is a good PRACTICE and preferred by everyone on staff that the message trail be in chronological order, such that the oldest messages (the beginning of the trade) appear at the top of the BTR. This way, we can all read along and follow the events in the order they occurred.

Some staff will simply not read, and consequently not assist, BTRs that do not appear in chronological order.

Since my post is apparently premature and not in the correct format, mods please feel free to remove it. I'm not really getting much help in contacting Wesley and I am getting more than a little sick of all the wining. Apparently Wesley is a "stand up guy" so I'm sure he won't be a problem in the future.

Unless inappropriately left, BTR's are not deleted once left.
At best, this can be marked "resolved" when rectified.

Heavygear,

I have sent a PM to Deadmilkman advising him of this thread and asking that he contact you immediately.

A couple things:

1. You are absolutely right to be concerned about a lack of communication. I would be (and have been) as well.

2. That said--it IS the holidays. Family, vacation, snow (do they have snow in NC?) etc can all have an effect on internet time. He has a good record so far on B-town, so I think you can be fairly confident that this will work out in the end. Nonetheless, it IS irritating.

3. In future trades where you send first (and there will be some for awhile, till your own rating is established), I strongly recommend that you exchange full contact details, including phone number and work contact info. This gives you another avenue to reach each other in times when PM is not working out. Email is good too.

I'll monitor this with you over the next day or so.

That area got a little snow before Christmas, but it is all cleared up now. Could be he took an early Christmas/New Years vacation and you will get a reply in a few days, OR he could be using a school computer and you'll probably here from him once he gets back into school. If you do have problems resolving this, I'm always looking for a reason to go visit my cousins in Charlotte! :-D

Your post is *NOT* premature. 7 days without contact or confirmation, holidays or not, is *NOT* acceptable. I definitely would have posted a BTR in your situation.

At this point, you should let deadmilman know that you are assuming that receipt was in good condition and completely acceptable. Items were delivered on the 28th, and you alerted him on the 30th. That's over a week ago. If he had any issue, he should have responded by now. Failure to communicate in a timely fashion means he gives up his right to complain.

At this point, you should give him 2 or 3 days to confirm and provide to get a DC# to you, with delivery to be completed within a week. Again, this sort of delay is *NOT* acceptable, and he should be held accountable for his actions or lack thereof.
