Just to let everyone know Daniel Clark AKA Lost Closet, has not come through with any of his end of the trade. At this point I feel I'll never see my models again nor get compensated for my loss. I've posted this warning on all the message boards for the game stores in his area and hopefully he'll be shunned there. I filed a mail fraud claim with the postal inspector and am looking into small claims court, I'm not sure how that works across state lines though.

I checked his references by screen and real names and I noticed you haven't left feedback for this trade.

The BTR is very good. My only concern is that there are so many traders who fail to keep up on BTRs, especially once they drop off the 1st page. Leaving feedback that you feel is appropriate would be even more effective helping other traders who deal with him in the future.

Yes. As Flagg has stated... leave the negative reference NOW. That is a step all too often overlooked in BTR's.
Some traders think the BTR is good enough. Others fear doing it, as they think the other guy will not see a reason to return the stuff, as he's already been "dinged" for it already (or will leave a revenge negative).

1) BTR's are not good enough. Not all traders check the NON trade forums.
2) Leave the ref. If you're willing to file a criminal complaint on him, you might as well leave the ref, too. the criminal complaint's more likely to tick him off than a BTR.
3) If he leaves one for you, it can be easily removed.

Just wanted to let everyone know, Daniel Clark still has not responded to emails or pm's and I've never received my items.

It's been a full year since Daniel Clark ripped me off.

No luck with the post office or any other federal agencies.

I've notified every game store within 100 miles of his address about what a P.O.S. he is but this incident has destroyed my faith in the bartertown system.

I'm out $100s of dollars with no way to compensate.

Did you contact The Whiz games? He used to be a regular there. I contacted the store owner about the time that I posted, way back, and he said he would pass the message on. I didn't hear anything after that.
