Ebonheart27 ... honorable trader or NOT?

Post by yankyaeger »

Here is the Message trail ... please see that I have tried to be patient, but I am no longer getting responses, and after having now read 2 separate posts wherer this trader has provided less than honorable service to the other parties.... I am beginning to wish I had read those 2 posts sooner! I still have the postal receipt in which I shipped their package on the 24th of March. I have NOT heard from Ben, since March 20th.

Just tired of dealing with dishonest folks.

Howdy! .... any update? I sent mine way back in the week of March 20th.
You stated you were going to send me a confirmation number when "you got home" on the 20th of March..... please let me know where those 2 items are. They have NOT arrived here... it is now April 15th, and I would like to clear all my transactions soon.

Thank you,

Same here,.. although I might be able to get them out real early tomorrow morning, Saturday, but, if not, I am out of town until Tuesday night, at the earliest.
I will try to get these out before I head out, though.

Thanks!

Hey, Yank...

He hasn't logged in since March 31.

Have you tried emailing him?

bjweisert23@sbcglobal.net

As an aside... I see you've been here a while, but I don't recall ever seeing anything from you in the "Bartertown Information" forums.
We're having a lot of discussions on some upcoming changes, and looking for User Input.

I'd love to see you in there.

I will attempt a further email to him.

I will also try to attend the suggested 'forum"

*as an aside it is rather diffcult to take your posts seriously .... lol, .... with "Ol' Bean" over there making those faces continuously! ... this was just a "kiddin' " type thing.

Thanks for the addy... I didn't see that before.

Hitting up those forums, obviously, isn't a requirement... I've just decided that I'm going to start pimping them more, since we have a smallish, stagnant... err... static... group of people who tends to frequent them and would LOVE more input.

As for the Avatar... if you're having a hard time taking me seriously, then it's working. Contemplate the avatar while reading the little "poem" in my sig. it'll give you some insight into my personality. : )

... and you're welcome to harass me all you want. : )

As for the email address... you didn't miss it. It's the one he used when registering with BTown. That's not a publicly available field.

Just an update on this transaction ... I just received this email, below, as I had to go out of town, but this was sent to me on the 20th, from Ebonheart27, to my off-Btown email. Just in case any one else hasd a transaction in the mix with Ebonheart27, seems, to me, he is presently unemployed, and homeless. I feel sorry for the guy, and am patient, and as i responded to him in kind, to which, that as long as I have communication, I will continue to be so. I just hope 1) his situation improves shortly... and 2) he can ship those miniatures soon as well.

Update:
May 20th .... no responses since last post.
Multiple B-towners have now had undesirable transactions with user.

I am trying to give this guy the benfit of the doubt, if indeed, he did lose his job and house.. I would hate to be in that predicament.... I might just write these items off, to a bad experience. (after I post a final response) .... since I am not getting any responses any longer.

Well, you -and anyone else in a similar situation- should leave negative references for the man. Regardless of his personal situation, you have to concern yourself with YOU first. On the CHANCE that it's a falsehood, you have to protect others.

Sent $130 worth of FOWs ;got no minis in return
Was told that he lost job but got new one and would send items the next week; NO Minis
Have sent numerous emails ;even threats of legal action[it is a crime]
I would gladly have paid the postage myself

This discourages me from using BTn

I'm sorry, I know you're angry for losing minis, but you can't just tack a Bad Trader Report onto the end of another Bad Trader Report. You have to make a separate thread for your BTR and it has to include the trail of messages back and forth between you and Ebonheart. Please do this within 48 hours as we take these BTR's very seriously both on the part of the accuser and the accused.

Thanks,
HZ, Bartertown Watch
