Well, I didnt wanted to do this, but I've been tricked. I started last december a trade with ilovesmytemplar(Robert Joseph Young, from Melbourne, FL), he had offered some tau stuff, and i offered money for it. I sent the money via Western Union, he got the money but never sent the stuff. He last entered the forum on December 29th. As I live in Argentina, and didn't use paypal, i dont know what to do...

humm,I was thinking about 30 USD, but I donk know if add them or not.. do they include the markerligh drone and the thingie that goes in the ground? (cant remember the name)... let me know how much will cost the shipping, if its over 15 USD, I wont include the XV25.
For shipping details, I live in Argentina (Buenos Aires City)... thats why the shipping cost may be a bit high.

I think its ok, but I went to the post office, adn they cant send a money order, yet, i can do a wire transfer, and the only thing you will have to do is go and pick up all the cash in the nearest western union office.
Tell me what do you think about this...

I know paypal is easier, I have a paypal account, the problem is that here in Argentina, the deposits of money into foreign accounts (such as paypal) is a way of "money laundry", so you can only do it with an international credit card (which I don't have, because I've changed work recently...)
I'm really sorry, i was really looking forward to buy you the stuff, but to do a wire transfer is the only way I Know... the good part about wire transfer, is that they call you at your pace, and you go there, get the money, and then you go to the post office and send me the stuff, you only have to wait for that...

(In case you wonder why I changed the address i already gave you, is because that is the address of my mother in law house, I live in an apt. and all the stuff sent to me there hadn't arrived ever, so for security, I rather have it send to the new address)

And another important thing: when they ask you about the contents of the package for the description, please, put "airplane modeling" or "aeromodelismo".
The reason for this, is that, here, as I told you, our over-protective government charge us with more than 50% of the total cost in the customs office, but aeromodelling doesn't pay a cent. In that way, I wont have to pay like 100 USD just for receiving the package.

soon, the thing is they DO take drivers licenses, but not mine because it's broken. they don't take any other form of id so i had to order a new one that should be here in the next few days. so when i get that i'll ship out your stuff. sorry for the inconvenience.

any news, its been almost a week...

And thats all i ever heard from him.... I have the western union receipt, from when i did the deposit... but they wont do any refund...If any of you read up to here, and has some piece of advice, ill hear it gladly... 107 USD may not seem much but is more than half my salary...

The name sounded familiar so i looked around a bit.

It seems he had another account under the username: ilovemybugs
But he hasn't logged into that account since creating the ilovesmytemplar account. So it might just be an issue of forgetting a password. For what it's worth, all the refs under his old account were positive.

Maybe he's dropped the ilovesmytemplar account and has a new one? That would explain him not logging in. Perhaps one of the admin types can tell if his IP is being used by another account here.

The emboldened statement is a lie.
We don't have to "order" our ID's here in the US. We can go in to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and walk out with it the same day, as long as we have the proper information with us. If we don't have the proper information, we don't get the ID that say, AND we can't order it.

that would send off a warning to me.. either he has them or not. either he's selling them to you or not..
if he's going to sell to someone else who's offered more, then you should've cancelled the sale..he sounds like he's untrustworthy to me.

i had a buyer here accuse me of it. i told him someone else was interested in the same minis also. the one buyer decided, replied, paid and the minis were shipped, before the other even replied..yet he was mad that he wasn't exclusive. bought were offered the same price...

I know this may not be any help but I thought I would throw it out there. I ship quite often to Central and South America and I know that it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 months for a package to arrive. I have shipped often enough with heroclix there that I feel I have an accurate time table there. The 8 months is extreme but it has happened. Heck I had one returned to me after 6 months. I will hope for you that it is just delayed in shipping
