Just to make a point... and I am NOT making accusations of anyone's intent... I'm just making this known;

BARTERTOWN DOES NOT SUPPORT THE USE OF 'ENFORCER" BEHAVIOR DURING ANY EFFORTS TO RECLAIM LOST/STOLEN MERCHANDISE OR MONEY.

If I discover that, during THIS or any other future issue with other scammers, people from within or without Bartertown have been enlisted or approached to behave as "enforcers," I will use every spare moment of MY time to ensure that ALL INVOLVED PARTIES receive a LIFETIME ban from here (as well as a request to Lin for you to receive an "ITL Nuke") and that whatever personal information I can get on you is forwarded to the authorities.

It is a wonderful thing when traders help each other out during situations like these. Especially internationally. It is unacceptable, however, to approach the scammer in a hostile or threatening manner under any circumstances.

Again... I'm not saying that anyone involved would have asked or offered such a "resolution." I'm just making sure that you understand the consequences that will arise, should someone decide that might be a viable option.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

If you would please PM the Admin so that we can post that info into the Moderator only forums that would greatly be appreciated.

This way we can make sure the right threads stay in the right places and so that we can be EXTREMELY NOSEY AND FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING! :)

Okay I guess I can tell you all what is happening.

My complaint against Joesph Bartle was closed shortly after I made it.

I recieved a call from the UKPD and they apologetically said this really isnt worth our time. It is only $70 CDN and the cost of inquiry and processing just makes the complaint not economically viable.

However...

In January my case was reopened. I guess the weight of the mass complaints made my case with the others economically viable.

I responded and asked if anything info was required.

UKPD responded on Jan 22nd requesting more information. I responded with my list of peoples' affected information.

My list was not complete because not everyone responded. But the big dollar ones were there. So now I am waiting for a response.

I requested an update and for information on what we could expect to happen.
I am assuming that there is still a posibility of CRIMINAL charges being made.

Thanks
Randy

So far, so good, then.

Did you ask them if they're visited him to inquire about it?
