Moe,

Were you able to send off the money order on October second? Did you manage to get any sort of confirmation number?

Thank you Moe, it feels good to have faith in the system and the people it consists of. Upon receipt of the funds I will leave you neutral feedback. I have also made a request with MagicalMemories to have your personal information removed from the posting, as you are clearly no longer a threat to the community... given the expediency of their responses recently I can only assume they will respond soon.

How will you be sending the money? Please don't send cash in a card... it really isn't safe and can get us into a whole "did he or didn't he send the money" situation. Please get back to me on this.

Mike.

A money order would suffice, yes.

Come on Moe! You've got three days grace period left before I leave you negative feedback... and if you take much longer I'm going to have to have you send it to my new address (yes... the trade has now spanned my summer research field season and my after-school move).

PLEASE GET BACK TO ME BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION MOE... OR I WILL CONSIDER THIS TRANSACTION TO HAVE FAILED, LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, AND NEVER LET A POST OF YOURS GO UNCHALLENGED ON BARTERTOWN. I work all day in front of a computer, and have no qualms with checking Bartertown at least twice daily for deadbeat postings.

I suppose he jumped at the prospect of 'sending cash' and 'losing it in the mail', but got turned off by the prospect of actually fulfilling his end of things with a money order. Let that be a warning to anyone thinking about using cash in a transaction.

In addition, I received the following today thereby lending more credence to the douchebaggery that Moe Jacobo is prone to:

Hello there,

I've also been involved in a sale with Assassin and have yet to be paid. Did you end up getting what was owed to you? I'm clsoe to goign the same route as you to get my end of things paid up.
thanks,

Mark Theurer

Mark: let me know if you're going after him for mail fraud... maybe we can piggyback the court cases.

Thus, this was not an isolated incident. I would recomend that we keep a watchful eye on new people from Texas. Sorry Texans... if anyone from the Lonestar State want to take this issue up with an interested party I've left Moe's address below... please note this is not a call to arms and I will not be held responsible for any physical harm that comes to Moe. And just to reiterate:

I would strongly recommend that user: Assassin, aka: Moises Jacobo (warhammer4life@yahoo.com, Jacobolaurel@aol.com, 214-598-0397 of 2854 cumberland dr, Mesquite, Texas 75150... also listed as 'Dallas Texas') be avoided on account of his fraudulent behaviour within the bartertown community.

PS: Magicalmemories... I guess we keep the personal details online. What an @sshole.

I know you're ticked... and rightfully so. Fair warning, though:
...AND NEVER LET A POST OF YOURS GO UNCHALLENGED ON BARTERTOWN.
If you do this, you could very well set yourself up for a vacation. Your best bet would be to report the ad to a Mod, Admin or Watchman (preferably with a link to this thread included) and ask them if there's anything they can do to deal with it.

FAR better response, that.

Lower rating? You ship first.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Want my help with a BTR or backout? All messages sent/posted should be in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Otherwise, I just won't read it.

Absolutely.... I didn't mean to imply that I would make the challenge, but I'd make sure it didn't go without notice.

Thanks Eric,

Mike.
