***UPDATE***

So with the information that Lictors_LoveMachine sent me I was able to get Aaron's store's phone number. I have been in the UK for the past 2 weeks and just got back yesterday so I called today.
Aaron played dumb and said he had no idea what I was talking about. I decided to play along and play dumb as well. I sent him to this site and showed him my post. He confirmed that the address I listed was his. I wanted to make sure I was talking to the right guy (not that I don't trust Lictors_LoveMachine but I had to know for myself). I hung up the call and figured I would let him think he got one over on me for a few minutes.
I then called him back and called his bluff. I told him he has 24hrs to send me my stuff or I am calling the cops. He hung up after that.

I will call him back at work. Once I have spoke to him if he hasn't shipped (and can provide me with a tracking number) then I will call the police and file a report (Anderson Police Phone Number: (765) 648-6716 in case anyone else needs it too.)

I will keep you all posted on what happens. Hopefully he won't be a total moron and just ship what he owes me so we can be done with this. I wonder if he realizes that though ripping me off is not criminal law (merely civil) that since the US mail is involved, it makes it mail fraud which he can be arrested for. We shall see.

Sorry it took me so long to post back to see if I could find out anything else through my cousin, but he doesn't know the guy, and none of his friends know him either. So I guess whatever help I could have been ended up being diddly. That being said, I have a family get-together either the second or third week of August. Let us know if he hasn't followed through, and I'd be happy to pop in the store while in Anderson and say "howdy"* to him in person.

*By "howdy" I mean that I shall of course conduct myself in a manner that reflects well on Bartertown, mostly.

***UPDATE****
Okay, so I called him again. Seems like a nice guy on the phone. He stated again that it was not him who setup the trades (his name, his address, etc). I spoke with him for awhile and he said that since it was his address and name that to make this go away that he would pay up. It seems kinda odd to go through all of this for $38, but it is more the principle. I don't know if I truly believe his story or not. Either way it is making good on the trade.....finally.
He said he would be sending a M.O. (but doesn't get paid till the 1st.) We shall see. I will post again once I have payment.
I am just glad I didn't have to go through the police this time. Don't get me wrong, if this hadn't gone this way I would be on the phone with the police right now, but I am glad it is taken care of....hopefully.

I'm sure that he does, indeed, seem like a nice guy.
Did you speak to him at his work?
If so, it's kind of interesting that he's not the guy who arranged a trade with you but he IS the guy that tried to short-shaft Lictors_Lovemachine:

It's not odd to go through that for $38, at all. It's the principle of the thing. If he gets away with it, he just gets even more brazen in his thievery.
If he didn't do it, there's NO WAY he'd give you the money. He'd tell you to prove it was him or go away.

Do not back down. If you don't get your $$, go after him.

Oh I will, have no doubt about that. I will give him the time to send the money though. If he doesn't I still have the number for the local police department.
