Honestly, I'd prefer to follow someone else's lead on this. This will be the first time I've had to actively engage some form of law enforcement to recover my money and property.

Just an FYI, but tomorrow (Thursday at the latest), I will be filling out those fraud forms and calling up the local police department to the address I sent my models. I know it's too late to do something with Paypal at this point, but I'm hoping this can be resolved otherwise, with Paypal's records as proof of sending money to 6479.

I will attempt to email him once more tonight. If I don't hear back within 24 hours, I'm pulling his ad and booting him from the site. That kind of behavior is inappropriate for a business..

I just recently sent an email as well stating that I'm preparing to resort to legal action. I tagged a "read" flag so I know when he recieves the message

What email service do you use?

I'm on AOL and I can only get a Return Receipt if emailing within AOL.

In addition several email programs (including Outlook Express) will let you configure them so that you don't send read receipts.

I sent it through my MSN account.
I never thought of outlook. You can "read" those messages without actually downloading them. Ohh well I sent a CC to each of the email addresses I had. There is no way he will not get a copy unless he is flat out ignoring them. In Addition, I have yet to get a mail deamon error about undeliverable mail.

sales@painter6479.com - This is on the web site to start a new project - I sent a CC to this also.

I haven't recieved a mail error, yet I'll keep looking. I heard there was some fires again in CA so I'm not sure if anything is effected. If I get a bounceback error then I know the rest went through

Alright, just logged on the their website. Seems to be a problem with the gallery and some of the "example" pictures. This site has been hacked many times in the past as well as experienced several DB problems that "required them to move servers"

Not sure what is going on. Not to be the black cloud, But I'm almost expecting some sort of "I've been haveing X problems lately"...
