Possible Bad Trader - Drawomancer

Post by Sharp101 »

So I bought a few models off of Drawomancer, sent him the money on PayPal almost two months ago and I haven't heard anything since. Not sure where to do from here.....

I'll try to put this in Chronological order...

Hi, I have a Techmarine with servo-hardness, plus a number of Servitors ( three Heavy Bolter, one Multi-Melta, and three or four with Servo arms -- one or two of their servo arms are broken, though) to go with him. All of the models are assembled but otherwise are bare metal. They were given to me by a friend who got out of the game and thought I could use them... Unfortunately I can't because I play a Witch Hunters army, not Space Marines. Inquisitor retinue shenanigans aside! :)

Would you be interested in buying them at $35-40 USD? The box set plus two blisters of Servitors should retail around $70 and I figure around 50% off should be good pricing for used\slightly damaged models? I can go lower if you but I'd want to send them snail mail to avoid a large shipping fee.

Let me know!

Hey,

Let me think about it and I'll get back to you.

(I really only need the Techmarine, but it is a good deal...)

Thanks

Hey there,

It's been over a month since I sent you payment and I've yet to receive anything.

Any idea what's going on? Did they give you an estimated delivery date?

Thanks,
Mike

Hello again,

Just wanted to follow up on this email. Do you have any info about the package?

Thanks,
Mike
The last two messages there are still sitting in my outbox, so he has yet to read them. He did read the message I sent saying I sent payment however, and his profile says the last time he logged in was Sept 25.

What can I do from here? Should I post proof that I sent payment through paypal?

Nope.
You've posted enough proof.

FYI-

At this point, you can (and should) post HIS email address and any other information you have or received from him (real name, address, etc.
No phone #'s.

Want my help with a BTR or backout? All messages sent/posted should be in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Otherwise, I just won't read it.

Paypal says his real name is Jamie Lee.

thinking about it now, I probably should have sent him an Email... But I figured most people would have the default PM notification Email still sending to them.

I haven't yet, I'll do that now.

I know I shouldn't have sent him money with no references, but I swear he had a couple before I sent it. My mistake though since he obviously doesn't.

He hasn't logged on to the site since September 25th, 2009. And has only been a member since July 31st, 2009.

Yeah, I came to terms with the fact that I'm most likely not getting the models I bought before I posted here. Mostly just seeing if there is anything else I can do.

Should I open a Dispute on Paypal and try to get my money back?

You have only 45 days to open a dispute with paypal(thought they say even if longer you should do it anyways, they don't say why)

Yeah, just tried to open a Dispute now. Went through the process and at the end it told me I was not-eligible.

45 Days is definitely not enough time. When I order things from the States sometimes it take 3 or 4 weeks to arrive. That gives only 2 weeks buffer time for disputes.

the only time it should take more than two weeks to ship to canada from anywhere in the states is if #1 If its sent by the cheapest ground mail it can get held up in customs (which happens to take longer if it's not airmail) #2 stat holidays on either side of the border. #3 (and this is my least favorite) they took a few extra days to mail it , which is why i won't pay unless the other side can guarantee things will be shipped by the next day and that it's shipped airmail. it might cost a buck extra sometimes but it's worth it.
