After many months of hearing nothing from him, I think I've given him ample opportunity to make good on his commitment. Below would be my messages to him.

I can fill the following list in trade for the grey knights, just wondering what their general condition is. The stuff ive got is unpainted and unassembled on sprue in case you were wondering, so if the grey knights have to be stripped i would prefer the trade to be just for the rangers. let me know.

10+ New rangers

1 Farseer on a Jetbike

2+ couple farseers of what ever kind

2 warlocks

10 rangers vs 20 GKs isn't even close on value. thats 50 bucks retail of rangers vs 128 retail of GKs

Sorry, misunderstood then. As far as I can guess retail your list is worth a bit less than mine, seems like a pretty acceptable trade to me.

Hey, I'm in such a hurry on this, if you didn't ship out yesterday or this morning, I'm willing to drive to indiana and pick them up. If its possible for you tonight or tomorrow to meet me at a fast food place or anything else in your town, I'm really desperate to get these minis. I'm leaving for the tournament friday and with a 7 hour drive and then the tournament starting at 7 am saturday, I simply won't have time to paint if I get them any later. Its about a 3 hour drive for me, so keep that in mind if you pick a time and when you reply.

Not only that but you won't even reply to my inquiries about whats going on. Whats the deal? Are you just deciding to shaft me on this? I need a response. That ends my communication with him. What else do I need to add to this thread to prove my side of it or start a process of some how rectifying the situation?

A cursory examination says it looks fine to me.
What have you done since then?

If nothing: look around the BTR forum for threads on him... Especially the one posted by Lictirs_Lovemachine. There might be some interesting information in there for you that you can use to get a hold of this guy.

Keep us updated.

I PMed one of the guys that said he got his resolved or at least spoke to the guy who claimed he was going to resolve it. Hoping for a response there, so I can follow his example. I know a few police officers in that area, I might check in with them and see If they can direct me to the proper contact information.

Just take a few minutes and read the threads already on this guy.
Lictors_LoveMachine had the phone # for the guy's work... He posted it in ONE of them.

Call and have a conversation with the guy's boss, like L_LM did. You'll be surprised what might happen.

I called the number I found in lictor's post. I was told he worked at another store and was given the number. I called it to be told he worked at yet another store, so I called it, where I was told he is the manager at Play It Again Games(or something close to that) I left a message and was told he was working tomorrow and I'll be calling back then. I left him my name and number(which we already know he has). At the second store I called, the guy working was defending him when he asked what it was pertaining to. He said that Aaron had complained some one had been using his name on this site and had made false trades. Considering other people have dealt with him and resolved the issues, I don't believe this in the slightest bit, but I'm still going to impart any information I was given.

Hmm. I wonder if he was promoted? When Lictor called, he spoke with the manager who, in turn, talked to Kasiok.

As for the second guy... Here's a scenario:

You work with a guy who you think is okay. In fact, you're friends.
Suddenly, out of the blue, a call comes in to your work & they're looking for him.
They tell you why (Btown problems like Kasiok's having).
When you talk to the guy, WHO YOU TRUST, he tells you a convincing story about how someone hacked his account and made a bad trade, along with a sob story about how he has to cover it, or they'll suspend his account.
Now, you don't visit the site, so have no 1st hand knowledge of it. You only have the word of this friend that you trust, who tells a very convincing story.

KWIM?

I'd bet that, if you gave the guy the address that you shipped to, and he compared it to Aaron's... and it matched... he wouldn't know what to say.

If you don't have any luch with the phone call to him, call one of those other stores and ask for the General or Regional manager's contact information... Whomever their store managers report to. When you speak with him, explain the situation to him (and give him the address you shipped to).

Why wait until he gets to work?

Eric

P.S. I find it interesting that the person who's stolen his identity on BTown is also having stuff shipped to his home address.

NO WAY!

I have both of those addresses listed for him.

Well I feel it is now my duty to be Aaron's new 'special friend' and call him at all hours until I feel comfortably redeemed and placated [or until everyone knows he's a bastard, liar, thief, conman and people get their stuff back].

Wish me luck.

Members of Bartertown, please, in no way are my actions the 'proper' or 'right' way to deal with most things like this, but at the moment I am taking special interest in 'Aaron' and need to get this resolved at least in my own mind.

Sorry for the extra posts.

And by the way, Eric helped me with ideas on how to resolve my issues with Aaron and finally the guy put out cash and bought me all new replacement models to get me off his back. Eric's a great source of information on these things. :)

I called his work 6 times. Talked to managers who confirmed Aaron, at the time, was lying to me.
Some defended him, some threatened ME. But when I finally explained what was going on, they tried to be helpful and understanding after I explained that the police would be curious to know what is going on in their stores and that an employee was using their business to 'rip people off' online.

Last I knew: TONY was Aaron's Regional Manager.

If you have anymore questions, check out my BTR against Aaron or message me about it and I will do what I can.

Now, LLM... BTown can't do anything official to you for what you do on your own time.
In Bartertown's best interest, I do feel obliged to say this:

"At all hours" would definitely be an inappropriate way of handling it. In no way does site management or staff approve of making calls to a residence that may be considered harassment. Any phone calls made should be during the hours that are considered acceptable (I believe these are 9am to 9pm, but I am not certain. Do not quote me on that) and should not use unacceptable and/or profane language. Also, please do not use harassing or threatening language if/when you speak with him or leave messages.

Okay.
That's done.

LLM, I think it's good of you to take it upon yourself to call and ride him A LITTLE about it.

I was gonna call him the 'F' word but I keep getting edited when I say it here. :P

But no worries, I will simply be 'persistent' and convince him and his friends of the error of his ways. :D

Being the Manager of a game shop makes it worse in my mind. Using his position of power to take advantage of poor defenseless and caught unawares gamers like this. Shameful.

Ok off to do some more 'convincing'.

Oh and was that 'Eastern Time' you referred to with the whole 9-9 thing cause I am on the Western Seaboard.

Yes.
That's 9-9 according to the time zone you are CALLING, Mr. Lictor. :-? :)
I would say, though, that ANY hours the business is open would be "fair game" (no pun intended), as long as it isn't CONSTANT or REPEATEDLY calling.
