Okay, here's my deal, guys, and I want opinions on what I can do about it.
About two years ago, I gave some Magic cards (2 big decks of green/white/blue and red/black/blue) to my g/f's roommate's boyfriend. He's big into Magic and said he'd find out how much they were worth and get back to me. Since then, I've spoken to him a couple times, but ever since Amber (the roommate) moved to a house this past year for school and since her b/f dropped out of school, I've heard nothing on my cards. The last thing I heard was that they weren't worth much and that he'd pay me about 20 dollars for them. I never spoke to him really after that, never heard from him.
I recently just e-mailed his g/f (the roommate), but she hasn't contacted me. I want to know what I can do to get my cards back. She's still listed as a student in Pharmacy at Purdue (where I went to college).
Any suggestions? I always thought the situation would work itself out, but now I'm at an end to my patience, especially since I'll be graduating after this summer. I'm back in NYC though, working on two electives to finish off my degree.
Thanks, guys.
General question (about 'bad trading' sort of)

only 2 yrs statute of limitations is probly not out. most likely its just your word against his unless you have a list of what you was trading or selling, any written agreement of intent to trade or whatever or a witness to the proposed trade. most likely chuck it up as a lesson learned and shrug off the loss.
