Iron Warriors Dreadnought

Post by Herz »

Picked this guy up here recently, figured I'd strip him down and give him a paintjob.

Still a bit more work to do but almost done.

His glowie face kinda reminds me of the Furnace from Home Alone.

Only thing that bugs me, is I need to tweak my camera settings again since its lacking showing alot of the shading and etc.

Makes the bronze also look kinda nasty vs how its shaded irl.

It looks like you've got too much light on it? I think that's why it's looking flat: try one bulb 45º from the camera and another opposite it either at half or twice the distance away- it should give more volume and contrast.

Also, the dull glow on the faceplate and lenses is nice work
True, we love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving. There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

If I don't respond in a day or two, please check back, I've forgotten-sorry.
