Hi all,
I've decided to try my hand at adding and removing weapons to my 25mm figs, specifically because I have a PC in my group who doesn't fit any description I can find - a clean shaven druid with a scimitar and wood shield. We'd both like to see his fig with a custom scimitar and a decent looking wood shield, though nothing too fancy.
Can anyone suggest a good guide on doing this, specifically in the smaller sizes?
Any first hand help would be appreciated as well!

i'm thinking you could probably get away with checking on historical miniatures companies pages, most have some form of celtic warrior model and the majority of shields for them [particularly the pictish and romano-british] used wooden shields. if i remember warlord games figures are plastic and you should be able to find some clean shaven heads online for a swap, after that i would say buff up the sword with some green stuff around the blade and add a curve. the issue with this though is that it's not particularly cheap but you end up with a bunch of figures to use as mobs in rpg's
