Orange Krush Orks (Orange Skinned Orks)

Post by IronBrother »

A little while ago, I painted an Ork Warboss with orange skin to see what the model would look like. Now I think I'm going to take the leap and start making the list. I think I am going to have a lot of Nobz in this army, just to make them look meaner and bigger. There is also going to be a heavy desert theme to this army, lots of sand blasted vehicles and armor.

What do you think?

Lower rating ships first, if we are within a few trades will ship/pay same time.
Please respond to all PM's, I will always respond even if it is to say no.
If our trade/sale involves models with cards. I do need the cards unless circumstances make that an impossibility.

The only money orders I will accept are those that come from the Post Office, anything else is too much of a hassle.

I'm not a fan of non-traditional skin color on Orks, so I'll keep my comments to painting, etc.
The skin looks like it was well done. That might be a mix of a decent paint job mixed with the less-than-perfect lighting, or it might because it's really THAT well done. It's hard to tell.

You can definitely see the definition in the face, etc. from a distance, though. Squig's too blurry to comment on it, though.

Lower rating? You ship first.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

I'm terrible at taking pictures, so I had my wife do it with the focus on the skin. Sun was going down when the picture was taking, so not a lot of good light. Thanks for the input.

The idea for this ork army was to have no blues or greens of any kind on the models.

Solid skin tone, but then again I'm a fan of non green orcs.

I like, I like non-traditional coloring, and orange and purples are my favorite.

The red skin does look good.

The eyeblack gives him someting of a kabuki look. I like it, and think it wouldn't work if he was green.

I dig it, if you've read Gunheads the golgothan orks had a red tint to them from the sand and dust blowing about.
Lower rating ships first, pays first, or works out a deal that is mutually acceptable to all persons involved.

Don't like my offer, tell me no... I'm all growed up, I can take it.
