Hello everyone,
I always hate to post here, but I feel that I must alert people to a new bad trader. I recently purchased a very large orc and goblin army from Mike. We agreed on a price of $350.00 and I sent payment with Paypal. A week later I received the army in two boxes. When I opened these boxes I was shocked at the way they were packaged. The models appear to have been thrown in the box with a few pieces of foam randomly stuffed in with them. What made things even worse is that large metal models including but not limited to, a giant and wyvern, had been thrown in with over a hundred plastic spear men. After going through the first box, I found MOST of the night goblins were damaged, the larger items such as wyvern and giant were broken into numerous parts. Over half the army has some form of damage.
To make things worse, many of these were painted models. From the pictures they were painted to table top quality, but now many of them are chipped and they all will need to be stripped and repainted after an extensive amount of repair work.
I had alerted Mike to the damage, and he insists that I send the items back and he will open a claim with the USPS for insurance. I told him that the insurance will not cover his poor packing, but he continues to insist that they will. He also asked that I send the army back and he will repair it, claiming that they are easy to fix and its just super glue. I am posting some photos below of how the boxes arrived and some of the damage to the models. I can post alot more photos, but I did not want to take every single model out of the box until the Paypal claim is resolved. I may end up shipping these back.

weapons can be pinned and chipped paint can be covered over though, chipped paint doesn't make them unplayable.

I highly doubt you will get anything from the USPS. When you just toss 100+ models in a box with little to no packing materials they will break. These should have been placed in baggies in small groups then carefully packaged with bubble wrap or packing peanuts. The way they were packed would be like putting a bowling ball in with a bunch of glass dishes and shipping it. Every dish will be broken
If you want to make a list of items you can send I am willing to work with you. I doubt a claim will do any good and i really dont want to wait 3 months.

ugh i haven't left yet i checked the usps site, i have to bring the item in and if its packaging fault then they can deny it, so that would be a problem, the earliest time i know that i will have money is aug 29th when i get my student loans, let me know if you can wait, if you want me to try and get the insurance from the usps, or if we can settle this another way.

I'm on my way out the door right now but here's what i have on my head right now. I have some random skaven stuff as well as codex's and i could attempt to meet you halfway and ship them,and maybe some other suff like the new beastmen stuff. the other thing is that the boxs were insured i can file the claim and when i get the money i can send it to you and you can ship the O&G back to me. I'm just not sure how long that will take. again im really sorry about this and i can understand why your frustrated, I want to work this out. Let me know if you want me to get started on the claim and i will when i get back.

I do not know what options there are. It will take weeks to fix all the damage and I simply do not have time, it would be easier to buy brand new models then it will be to repair these.
If you have other ideas I am open to them but with the condition these items are in its worth about 100.00.

I am so sorry about the shipping, I didnt realize that would happen. I really want to make things right with you Is there anything i can do to make this better other than a refund, i would normally not have an issue with it because other people had asked but i had to use it to pay rent which was why i was trying to move it so fast. I am truly sorry, and i have had nothing but good responses up till this point. Please let me know if there is anything else i can do

I opened the first box so far
around 20-30 night goblins are broken, weapons broke off, hands fell off, heads broke off, paint is damaged
boar chariot - base broken off, rider broken off, boar broken off
savage orcs - most have weapons and arms broken off
the wyvern is in at least 6 pieces
the giant is in 3 pieces
4 of the goblin wolf riders are broken
several of the painted orcs are broken
the painted metal models are chipped and need to be repainted
I was under the impression that I could actually use this army but the horrible packing would mean that nearly every part needs to be repainted.
I think at this point I need to return everything for a refund.

I got the miniatures today. I am really dissapointed with how they were packed. It looks like they were simply tossed in the box with no care on how they were packaged, many of them are broken and nearly unusable.

fair warning it may very well be 3 boxes, packing tight to attempt for only 2. Also theres a bunch of things that i did not list (snotlings or damaged stuff) that im just throwing in. so dont be surprised to see things you didnt see in pics, just tossing them in cause i dont need them any more and hey you might

Hey , yes it is still for sale, you are among a few people im sending messages back to right now though no one has made offers yet. I do not have a price in mind because a lot of this stuff is older. I am willing to entertain offers, also i have the new book and the cards, plus movement trays to go with them. Im not sure what edition the Night gobbos are from, they are 4 piece plastics that hold spears, not the skull pass ones( i also dont like the generic skull pass ones. anyway hit me back with any more questions and if you send me your email address i can email you pics.
