Seems like FW missed a real opportunity on the Chaos Knight gun barrels. A couple resin "slip on" end pieces could've been AWESOME.

The guns just look so... normal.

Lower rating? You ship first.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Agreed.

They could've done WAY more for the Knight. I honestly was assembling/painting thinking "this is it?". It also lacks about 85% of the spikes it should have being Chaos.

Eh, I like chaos mutated rather than "moar spikes(!)" though agree about the guns.

Oh, also, I forgot, 5 points for the watcher, being bigger than a heavy warjack.

That's funny. I hate the mutated, and much prefer MOAR SPIKES when it comes to Chaos.

Nayt, yeah, I like cobbled together pseudo-demonic stuff and a kind of brutal gang sensibility, think that most of GW proper's possessed, demon engines, and most CSM's look kind of terrible (cartoony or with details tacked on), but love stuff like FW's word bearers/sons of horus/vraks militia, and like the Dark Vengeance stuff.

Hapotte, thanks, and yeah, he's a bit of a beast.

So, I think the basic KD guys would qualify as large infantry? Spoiler'd a scale shot of one of the thinnest KD minis, though about average height.

This reminds me of the "Tastes great! Less filling!" debates of the 90s... only about something cool.
On r/miniswap under the same name. Please be polite & answer PMs, even if all you tell me is "No thanks," or "I need more time." I expect lower rating to ship first, even if that's me, unless we work something out in advance.

Hehe, at least something nerdy.

This is my idea of the right amount of spikes (note: not for the challenge since these were a bit back)

Nice natural 'nids, there.

BTW, not sure how I have 6 points- thought it should be 7 (5+2x1) or 9 (5+2x2) depending on if those KD guys are big enough to count as large inf?
