Which flocking do you use? Main issue I have is most of the snow flocking I've found is too large compared to scale.

Plus, the yellowing only happens if you dont clearcoat the mini.
Woodland Scenics.

Lower rating? You ship first.

Please, also give a list of the models you have done, rather than JUST pics.
Thanks.

1 Necron Ghost Ark, from China. Cheap as it was, it was a pain to build. No instructions. Missing parts, warped parts and the resin is brittle.
Also a bit heavier than plastic.

The pilot's head was missing so I had to use 1 from a Deathmark. The head is sitting a bit low and the console a bit high. I was thinking about sculpting hair on to the model and painting it blue. Maybe hang a curled, handicap sticker from the front mirror and put a 'flashing turn signal on it. [an inside joke from, primarily, the south.]

I painted details on the guns, but they're hidden. :-( I made the guns movable, but glue seeped down from the endcaps, and glued them in place. I doubt I'll buy resin from China again.

I'll probably make a custom base to support it on all 5 points, not just the 1. I'm using 2 now.

It's a large vehicle, but has 11 crew. 8 points?
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

Forgetting the whole "recast" discussion here...
Even from China, are resin recasts cheaper than buying PLASTIC from GW or a discounter? I'd have never thought so.

In general I find that they are cheaper, however for certain things they are not.

Anyway I painted:
18 bikers
Thunderfire cannon
2x Storm Talons
3x Knights
5x scouts
1x coteaz conversion
1x ordos xenos inquisitor
6 henchmen and 3 servo skulls
3 Centurions
and a display board
USA

My prices/trades are just estimates, I do not know the going rate. If you want to know sooner, send me a offer.

Depends on the model. The big ones that are expensive, yes. For example, the big Necron vault retails for $160, is $55 from China. The Arks & Barges are about 40-50% of retail. Some single models are actually the same or more than retail.
No instructions. All pieces are loose bits. Very brittle, hard resin.

Easy guidelines for trading with me:

The trader with the lower rating will need to ship first.
Delivery confirmation for both parties required. I will always send the delivery confirmation number to the receiving party, and I appreciate when the same is done for me.
Don't be a jerk or treat me like one.
Thanks!

3 Necron Canoptek Wraiths. 1 pic with flash.
Washed out pic because I used the flash. To dark to tack pics outside and couldn't get good lighting inside.

24 Giant Rats, 26 more to go!

Some rats scurrying!

I'm about halfway done, I'll have to finish them next weekend. I've had a great time building and painting these, I may have gone a bit overboard on the paint standard for the rats. The bases need a touch of something more now.
