Bad trader, is it time I am able to do this?

Post by HumanusImperialis »

Trader Lormax and I agreed to a trade for a Tau Broadside suit, with damaged ankles for $15.00 U.S.

I mailed the SUit Priority two and a half weeks ago. I have not recieved my money, nor has he returned a single PM. He cannot be EMailed through his profile. I feel I have just been ripped off. What do I do now please?

I'd say be quick about posting PM's or proof so you dont get suspended.

First, i would post proof of this claim, like all the PM's you guys sent to each other.

Second, i would do it quick, because the suspend people who post messages without proof backing them up.

To quote Lirandir, "I would suggest your READ THE RULES!" You will be suspended if you do not post proof of a bad trade.

Heya. Ahh, didn't realize you didn't have a bank account. I'll get a money order this week then, most likely Tuesday. Here's my shipping address....whats yours? I don't remember if you've sent it already.

Sent it today mate

----------------------------------------------
For whatever reason the PM's I've been sending for the last three days do not appear in my sent box.

I have not heard back from him since June 27th.

I have sent a PM informing him that I will contact the authorities if he does not contact me. And I have sent a reminder to that effect.

Today I sent a PM explaining that he has until Monday to get ahold of me before I file for Mail Fraud, and strike him here as a bad trader.

I know two weeks window ina trade isn't nessecarily cause for this strict of action, but the lack of communication bothers me.

The last issue I take worry from is the fact that he has NO Email address posted on his profile.

If I am not contacted by monday, I am within my rights to strike hima negative response and add him to the bad trader list, correct?

Two weeks isn't that long of a time considering a lot of people wait months before coming to the BTR forum.

Sometimes a BTR catches the attention of the person you are seeking, and sometimes it doesn't.

Do you know for certain that all of the messages that you are writing are even being read by this individual? Just your sent box, that'll show you.
As a general rule, if you don't like my offer, please barter with me.

Check your Outbox. If they're still in there (as opposed to the Sent box), that means he hasn't read them yet.

Even if he don't come to bartetown for months. receiving a package in the mail should be enough reminder, to check your messages. The trade is not taking too long , but the lack of response, would make me a bit worried.
keep bugging him. another thing is it might be a young trader. and he might be waitng on mommy to pay him. so he can pay you.

This is true, but the one time i had to wait on a situation like this, i was informed so it was not a problem.
My 2 cents.
