I just started 6 termagants last night. Primered them and then am experimenting with washes and a different base coat. Not coming out the way I want, so they might get shelved.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

Well, the Termagants got finished and I'm almost done with the Mangler Squigs. The base was more of a PIA than the squigs.

I'm in for this. My official goal: Right now, I have one fully painted 6-pt SAGA army for each of the the three ages (A&A, Vikings, Crusades). By the end of the year, I would like to have two fully painted, 6-pt armies for each of the three ages. (I'd also like to have 2 armies painted and done for Age of Magic, but that's a stretch goal, not my main one)

So, for A&A, I'm doing Huns. For Vikings, I am probably doing Irish. And, I need to decide on something for Crusades, but it will probably involve camels.

The Mangler Squigs are done. Just got to put ther final touchs on the base>
The KT Kroot are almost done. A couple final details. Touch-ups, bases and they're done.

I'm home while the wife is recuperating from surgery. Sitting around, might as well paint.

I'd like to finish painting the grots I just bought and started to build. Mangler Squig done.

The Kroot I got for KT. Done
The bugs I bought for KT. Some done. The Termagants. Stealers left.
The 2nd box of Nighthaunts I just finished building. Any of the last 4-5 Underworld teams I just built.
I'd like to finish stripping and repainting the Crimson fists I got years ago, and base coated several years ago. I just put the last couple into Purple Power. Stripping mostly done.

I'd like to try to finish the OOP Black Dragon and lord. I just can't get the colors right and have had some professional advice on what to try.

I'd like to finish painting the Necromunda Escher gang I started to paint. We're not playing, so I stopped painting.

I'd really like to finish ANYTHING. You can see I have none completed this year for the painting contest.

I'd be killing in the building contest.

The new CSM models drew me back to 40k, so how about 3000 points worth of painted and based CSM? I have started some already though.

That works for us!

Like KT has said, it isn't about beating someone else. It's about setting a goal to have finished by the end of the year, and, if you meet or exceed it, you get a fancy title. Therefore anything you have already started totally works!

I have added:

Helix89 - 3000 points of CSM painted and based.

Okay. It's a small goal... but I have small time.
I'm going to convert and paint a Sisters of Battle themed Imperial Knight. Something along the scale of conversion as my Renegade Knight conversion, but with more fine details work and less greenstuff (LOL).

I have the knight, the Penitent Engine pilot and the Exorcist organ (etc) bits.
Now to just source an Immolator sprue!

If school eases up, I'll recalibrate and add a little more.
