Mix of both! I actually airbrushed washes to get this effect.

That's the legion look I would have loved to do. Alas I am trying to rid them for Skorne bcz I like the aesthetic of Skorne better. It's very well done.

I'd love to see the Extreme Carnivean in that scheme!

Finished up some ghosts recently and just today had time to take pictures.

I know traditionally ghosts are greenish in look but I decided to give it a blue appearance. Partially because I like the blues and partially because it was different. They look like spirits/energy which is what I feel a ghost most likely is.

Three colours were used: Prussian Blue, Magical Blue and White. Layered back and forth of course to get as smooth of a blending as possible.

And then dry brushing the flock, washing it, dry brushing it again and then tufting it with grass for the base.

Cav = 30 points (3 each)
Hosts = 8 points (2 each)
Banshee/Wraiths = 4 points (1 each)
Total = 42 points

I really need to finish some of the models I have half painted.
And not start any new models...not build the new Bolt action starter...oops too late.
Not to build the new FoW starter......
Not to build the new Beyond the Gates of Antares, when it arrives...
