Hehe, yep- not a huge fan of the series, but I sure like its look.

And yeah, the forgotten marshal is a nasty piece of work- she's tough to begin with, but has a fun ability where when she dies the thing in her coffin breaks out (a random zombie worth anywhere from half her cost to more than it), which makes a very nice deterrent to actually dealing with her as an annoying flanker.

Next, obliterators with some little conversions.

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

And a blast from the past (almost exactly 3 years ago when I first posted him):

Awesome!

Love the rework, the improvement is definitely shown! Salamanders are looking good! How many of them do you have done?

Thanks! On the Salamanders, only around 10, though I've got another 30 I'm working on at the moment... graduating from showcase to somewhere over 1k points if I ballparked correctly

Yeah, it's one of the only things I find 40k has that no other company really touches- vasty hordes of regimented guys just look really nice, even if they get a bit boring to paint.

Also, starting in on Kingdom Death: Monster, with the promo Twilight Knight.

Thanks, yeah, she was really nice to work on.

At the opposite extreme, the derpy storm talon needed some serious salvaging:

I saw on facebook yesterday something similar. The guy didn't use the clear stems, he had the vehicles 'on' the ends of the terrain.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

Is that a modified talon? It looks so tiny.

Great work though.

Oops, didn't see the responses before, yeah, 3eland, I think the basic design is really dumpy, looks like it wishes it were a helicopter but it has none of the right shapes for it, so I went with a much more compact design: Assault cannons are stacked instead of on the turret, hanging secondary weapons are now above the cockpit; tail was replaced by another engine, no wings, maybe other stuff.

Next up, the Kingdom Death starter scenario. A few pics, didn't want to put too many in...
