I cannot wait to see my Stormcasts done up too! lol

In the meantime here are 28 Skeletons. 2 need to be redone so I won't add them until later.

It was very hard trying to decide how I wanted to complete these guys. I needed to keep it in theme but purple, the common tint in the previous two units (and the dogs to be) just did not fit since they were more bone than anything else. And so I decided to pick a more aged looking bone and green cloth as it brought the look together fairly well. The copper and steel metals fit with the decaying look that Skeletons have and I wanted both types of metal to really accent the blande bone. I was going to do purple cloth but I am doing the Grave Guard cloth in purple so that was not something I wanted to continue. I like having each unit have something different that is subtle but makes it unique. The Ghouls all have blue cloth, the zombies are just rotting in general, the Skeletons green, the Grave Guard purple, I have plans for the Blood Knights (red, of course) and the other units that aren't ghosts/spirits.

Turned out well I think. I hit the metal with a matte sealant, I wanted to take some of the shiny off and it worked okay, another layer of sealant might be needed to really dull the metal down but I want to test it first before I do the entire unit.

They look great beside the Ghouls and Zombies though!

I'll get better pics for them later this weekend when I do up the Ghouls and Zombies. So apologies for the bad lighting.

28 points.

Up next, if all goes well for time, 10 dogs, a corpse cart and something like 30 Grave Guard!

Not sure what dogs count as. Cavalry?

30 points I think?

I'll grab better pics later but I have a game in a few hours so thought I would take some quick pics!

And there's that speed again- seriously, really impressive, as always.

Those skeletons look very nice as a set, and even those wolves (which I really don't like the sculpts for) still look nice as a unit

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

If I don't respond in a day or two, please check back, I've forgotten-sorry.

Finally getting on the board. I've been on a terrain making kick lately, as well as trying to pare down my gaming collection to something a bit more manageable, so I haven't been painting as much as I wanted. I need to go through and look at what I finished for AdeptiCon this year, since I know that has some models I haven't posted yet. Still, in the meantime:

Test of paints & sealer on a bones mini. Paint went well, sealer has left it feeling tacky, so I need to get a different brand before I do some of the bigger bones pieces. (I really want to paint my Chthulhu this fall, and clear some backlog so that I can justify ordering Tianot as part of Bones III)

I finally finished another model, Be'lakor. A small sized deamon prince, compared to the new models. They've cast it in finecast, which I hate. The sword bent, from the heat, while transporting it in the car.
The Sigmarite is there for size comparison.

3 points. since the sigmaite is about the size of a termie. I don't think it's the size of a rhino.

Can I ask a favor?
Can we only submit a single pic of each model? When there are a lot of posts that are filled with images, it takes a long time for the screen to load and, as I scroll, my machine keeps jumping back up the the most recently completed pic (which I've typically seen days ago). From some PMs I've received, I know there are a number of people in the same situation as me.

For those who like to show multiple angles, I have a couple solutions:
1) Edit your pictures to stitch them all together into one pic (preferably side by side)
2) Start your own blog in this forum to show off your work (it's fine to post it here and there).

Thanks for the consideration, guys.

Eric

I was wondering when someone was going to complain about my pictures!

Kt and I are the only ones that like to spam them ha ha.

**EDIT** - I edited this page's posts to one pic and shall submit one pic from now on ;)
